I haven't had the chance to view the new duds, but wanted to comment quickly. I didn't mean ONLY leading to sex! What if you decided you wanted to go out dancing or go to a show or something, or you just wanted some one-on-one wihtout the dogs. But I see your point with the beach home!

Cool. BTW, my "Who Viewed You" count went up tremendously with the dreaded mirror-picture. But, you say I look like a salesman. hmmph. Decisions, decisions; please Deuce, or please the ladies.... hmmmm... whatEVER shall I do? :)

I'm neither Duece nor the Ladies, but...

The mirror picture had you clean cut, it was well lighted, etc... we need another one of those, just without the camera in it too :) Heck, if the camera has no timer function.... get all ready, run outside find the first person you see and have them take a picture :) They might look at you funny, but you'll get your pircture.

The picture is an improvement; can you crop it in a bit?

By the way, I was in a movie recently; any way I can showcase THAT fact in here? the short clip is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fu-hrpaZS0M . I'm not certain what the rules are, but I am inordinately proud of it... :)

New pic looks good! Although personally, I found I didn't get a good response with my main pic in a suit/tie - but, your target demographic probably will respond better than mine.

You've been holding out on us! I think you should definitely mention the movie!!! That gives them something interesting to email you and ask about, so that then you can work your magic from there! We must find a way to tie this in.

You probably can't post the link, but I don't see why you can't mention something about the experience, etc... to entice a contact from the reader to know more.

That is the link to the FAQs in the help/suggestions forum. You'll have to look to find them but profile/forum posting rules are all there.

The only reason I said to lose the picture would because the camera is in it. I've got two mirror shots in my profile on purpose. You can now probably guess which ones they are as they appear to be in a small room now that your visual bias is tripped but before they could have been taken by someone in a room. Heck, one of them was taken by my daughter, and she took one into the mirror and one straight at me and I thought the one straight at me looked like a mirror shot more! It was a great picture, I did say that. You know what though? Of my pictures the one that got the highest rating was the one in the suit with my daughter. Yeah, exactly! The one I got the most attention from when I posted it as my main, the sunglass picture, got the WORST rating! I don't trust that rating thing much!

As for the new picture it's good. Not as good as the previous one but it'll do! It ages you a bit though. I'm kind of envious of that salt and pepper thing you've got going on though. Someday I hope to rock that look for MANY years! But then again my dad is 60 and he has jet black hair, and my grandfather on my mom's side has been grey with a bush full of hair since he was 40, so maybe I'll luck out and get stuck somewhere in the middle.

Ultimately you do what you feel you need or want to do, and what the women tell you as they are your audience. But I think the women who won`t care that you took the picture in the mirror and the camera is showing are not likely the ones you want to date anyway, as you are likely looking for a sophisticated, witty woman. For a 21-year-old with no class and little intelligence it`s perfect! For a 30- to 45-year-old no. I`ve been known to be wrong but I`ve also been known to have been right about these things a time or two.

Oh, and the link will get your profile deleted in short order. DEFINITELY leave it off! Actually, it could get this thread deleted as it`s self-promotion. You can mention it in the profile that you recently shot a movie and when you talk to a woman you could send her the link so she can see you live in action. Unfortunately this isn`t myspace so that`s about all you can get away with here.

OK; changed it to this :
"I can't post the link here, but look up "Ralph and Brawney" on Youtube."

As for the pictures, well, put a tie on a goat and it's still a goat. I think my best picture might be from orbit, personally. :)

As for the salt-and-pepper thing, it's been like that since I was 24. Must be the evil life I lead! Lots of Irish heritage.

...well it's ruggedly sexy. And I do mean that in the most heterosexual way imaginable! The slight beard does a LOT for you I bet with the women.

Thanks, but I really wouldn't know. Have only been with 2 women in the last 14 years; 2 very long term relationships. No dating, no cheating, no fooling around, nothing.
I DO know that in the last 2 days, since I shaved it off, I've been getting "the eye" from complete strangers, and the ladies HAVE been smiling a wee bit. It's weird; personally I like the bearded look much better, as you seem to also ( in a strictly hetereosexual/non-sexual way, of course... !). However, the ladies seem to feel differently. Go figger.

That new profile pic, well the cropped version of the original, is a gooder by you should maybe try and work the image setting in Picasa or the likes. You look like you just got a day pass out from Charlie's Chocolate Factory, and you've traded your candy-striped tights and curly-toed shoes for a cowboy hat in the rest! Hail the Oompa Loompa. Sorry, just making of the orange colouring and not trying to piss you off! LOL

You are an attractive guy, in a completely hetersexual way of course. The beard only adds to it, but perhaps you are in an area where facial hair is done to death. Who knows. I do know that I look better with facial hair but when I keep it trimmed versus letting it grow longer I get WAY more looks and comments. I haven't shaved the goatee off completely in probably 8 years. I'm afraid! LOL

I'd take off your place of employment. The people you meet and chat with, you might want to share that with, but you shouldn't post too much personal info, just to be safe.
Describing your job would be better, like, "I'm a executive for (type of industry)"

Cyber people can be maliciously mischievious for no reason sometimes, so control the personal info to the general public. Also, some more conservative firms REALLY DON'T LIKE IT when you mention their name on a myspace or social networking type board and then voice various opinions, let's say, in the forums. It may seem innocuous to you, but it could lead to headaches if someone gets offended or ticked off by something you post. Believe me, I work for 'bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeep' and they hate it when I drop their name in cyberspace.

Thanks for the info, but I'm not worried. I'm 2nd in command for the company, and I have nothing to hide. That's why I even use my real name. I have been places and seen and done things that would sicken a priest, all in the name of God and Country; there is little that I fear anymore. Thank you very much for your concern, however; it shows you have a good heart.

Thanks. I do have a good heart, even though I'm a lawyer at 'bleeeeeeep.' Just always looking to minimize liability exposure.
