I wouldnt mind, but if it was my first meet may have bailed out, not sure on us being in fancy dress whilst normal crowd would all be dressed, which would make us stand out more, if folk are so shy or dont want to wear a sticker , will they really want to go fancy dress.
Cuteycat I agree with you if its vicars/ tarts , males to be tarts, either that or the only tart im going to be in public is strawberry tart fully wrapped !!!
How about others giving some thoughts
Might be better to make xmass special a fancy dress, when the meets are more established...................... | |

I tend to agree with you about the fancy dress maybe putting people of, and definately if this meet is a success (which of course it will be ! ) we could organise a fancy dress Xmas or New Year meet. We have to remember that some fishes are shy and new to Meets, like we all were a few months ago.

Entirely up to the hosts but I would leave it for now if it was me. Let them get a bit established first before you start introducing fancy dress. | |

Good idea though foxy and as others have suggested lets save that idea for Christmas when we could be onto our third meet. By the comments others have made I think we should just leave this meet as it is. We appreciate the feedback so keep all your comments coming please

It would be different if it was exclusive to pof members i think but not open to public.

We are not going for the fancy dress option this time, way too stressful for all us fishes...
Just checked and there are 22 men and 32 women signed up for the meet...Come on guys you know you want to go.... and no slipping into the Jam House cos Tinkerbell will recognise you and come say 'Hi'.
Glad to see 'Our Graham' back from his hols, so the banter will start, unless he has gone all shy!

The Jam House is quite easy to find, depending on where your hotel is? There are a lot of Glasgow coming through so you can also meet and come together?

Posted: 7/14/2008 3:32:49 AM | Confusion arose when originally the date was Sat 6th but it was decided that a Saturday at The Jam House was too busy... It was changed to the Friday very early on and as Diamondinblue says it is Fri 5th Sept on the link. Hope you can still come...
