Makes me glad I don't live over there in Calgary, I don't think my poor, fragile ego could take a rejection like THAT!

...Personally I think you might like Calgary, lots of fun things to do, plenty of friendly people......Canadian hospitality at its finest.

.....It’s easier than admitting that the fault lies within themselves; that their lack of positive personality and character traits, and their lack of physical appeal, is what turns a lot of women away.

This is very true. If a man has limited social skills, lacks positive personality traits, has poor conversational skills, or lacks physical appeal, women will not be atracted to him. Money and social status alone won't make a man attractive.

I think that many men are in denial about how important it is to present themselves well when they are meeting a woman.

The only thing this week I am concerned about "working harder at"...
is a certain hill I am bound and determined I WILL go from bottom to top without turning around and 'cheating' by pushing backwards with my feet/legs!!

Of course, that in turn is part of an overall desire for me "working at" getting weight off and being better physically fit.
I'm doing it!

...Whatever you do, don't go down that hill, otherwise you can be classifed as being "over the hill" . Just kidding, you go girl.

I think that many men are in denial about how important it is to present themselves well when they are meeting a woman.

I'm going to have to agree,, however,, lets not be in denial women,, there are some women themselves who could care less about their appearance,, just walk in to a supper market,, so many dress like slobs.,, then just take look at some pictures here,, their hair looks like it hasn't been washed in a week,, check out the back ground,, crap all over the house,, and so many shots/pictures are of them in the bedroom or bath room,, not only are those displays are disgusting,, but the environment in which they live,, their train of thought might be,, I can capture a good man,, by "ATTEMPTING" to show a seductive side,, be warned the men who do take care of our selves pass right by that crap,, I kinda wonder if those are the woman who are complaining here,, Yet I have no clue,, so please lets not just pick on men,, everyone has a part to play in their appearance,, both men and woman,,

It seems to me,, this is turning in to a man bashing post,, there are many men who take care of them selves very well,, as do most woman,,

...Hmmm, quickly checks the background of all pics, nope, no bedroom or bathroom shots, hair looks clean....whew.

Just playing with ya...I know what you mean though and yes you are correct there are some men that take VERY good care of themselves... wink, wink

Hmmmmmmm,,, as well,,, Here lye's the problem,, My eyes could never leave such beauty,, to even attempt to scan the back ground of debris,,

personality,, it's the women who do take care of them selves,, they are the beautiful ones,, it's all shapes, ages and sizes,, pride and confidence goes a really long way,, with that,, where is the integrity of a person,, where is their self worth,,,

Here lye's the problem

Ooops. If you lye the problem, then you are covering it with caustic soda, hoping it will dissolve without a trace. Slip of the tongue or faute de frappe?

Money and social status many have been important to women in bygone years, but they are NOT anymore. We have our own now and we look for other, less tangible attributes. Attributes that you can’t buy or climb a ladder to obtain.

The sooner men start to realize this, the greater success they will have with attracting the kind of women that appeal to THEM.

So, LH, you actually AGREE with my post MSG 148 after all --- MEN have to work harder.

.....Ummm, I don't think so.....no woman in their right mind would buy a vibrator wih a name like that..."tiny' implies, well it refers to .....nevermind, I like the name "Mr Osaki" apparently (I'm told)...he is the cadillac of vibrators

...Therefore, a woman over 45 doesn't have to work that hard.

'The Cadillac of vibrators!? I love it! lol

There should be one called 'Mr Roboto', then you could say 'domo arigato, Mr Roboto!'

"April Showers" I presumed "Tiny " was in regard to anatomical feature. I'm sure one would not purchase a BOB that was called a "Cave Dancer".lol!
PS. Of course that would be only if the shoe fits. (Or BOB that is)
Have I dug a deep enough hole for myself ? (No pun intended.)

No, Wack. Men have to work SMARTER in attracting women. Unless of course you think that developing a personality and positive character traits and following a healthy lifestyle so they stay fit and physically appealing, is "hard work"

...I just love how that seems to roll off the tongue, "Mr Roboto, its been my pleasure" or "Mr Roboto, I've enjoyed myself immensly"..........not that I know all that much about vibrators you understand.....I'm just saying

....There stuff out there for the menes too, so they don't have to work so hard.

By the looks of the last few posts, it seems they are taking care of themselves, or possibly thinking of doing so....

I think they do, men of our dating age seem to be going thru some sort of male menopause!!! They seem to be looking for mostly physical attraction rather than looking at what's inside the wrapper as well.

Hmmm Mae, there's a lot to be said for the occasional roll of the tongue... so I've been told...

As for the other 'stuff', I don't engage with things without a mind, without the mind, there is no point.

Really.. I think this man will look for physical attraction in a woman,, you can bet your last dollar on it,, you can also bet your last dollar I want what inside as well,, the problem is, she needs to have both,, among so many other things,,

I think the women and men who keep complaining about the opposite sex,, really they are the ones who have the issues,, feeling all sorry for them selves because they can't find any one who wants them,, I think the normal men and women,, are just as happy with them selves and take one day at a time in the dating world, they don't seems to be in a rush,, because they are not going to settle,, just because a man or a woman says,, but you really should get to know me,, I'm a good person,, in reality they are needy,, and will take the first person that comes along,, but yet they are passed by for what ever reason,, attitude,, physical appearance,( meaning they have let them self's go) so let be real,, lets stop the gender thing,, it's on both sides of the fence...
