We decided to get a hotel room for Friday night since we are coming in late so we will probably stop by the campground tomorrow night. I still don't have a kayak to paddle and I REALLY want to go on the river trip Sat. morning.
CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THERE IS DEFINITELY A KAYAK FOR ME TO BORROW? I would be ever grateful!!!   | |

I'll be there Fri early evening about 6:30 on #26. My cell phone is 386-237-4748. I'll be trying to find the host Fri when I arrive to see if they want to keep my contributions in their camper for the Sat Taco Nite. Other than that, I'll be trying to find my way around the facility (since I've never been there before). So, I'll be "on my site, on the hosts site, or wandering around." How's that for percision? these are the people who have indicated thye are coming and thier camp sites. The second part of the list is of people who said they are coming but may not be staying.
(please fogive if i get something wrong) I think there are still some of us that can have a tent on our site so post if you need a site.

She didn't want to set up camp with her gear for one night and move it because it is too much. Your offer is greatly appreciated though. Also, if I can't borrow someone's kayak or ride tandem in one then I may be hanging with you in the campground if you're still sticking around. WARNING - I will be SAD if I can't go on the trip so you'll be entertained by my pouty lip. LOL   | |

tiggaerbounce, you and your friend are both welcome to stay both nights at my site if you want, and if it will save you some money,, doesn't matter to me one way or the other,, i have a truck camper, your more then welcome to pitch your tent, also i'm bringing a tent should you need one or anyone else.. i'll be leaving my house early, should be at the campground around noon or so,, see you all there. | |

Posted: 7/11/2008 5:14:20 AM | Being Italian, I can't resist a reason for feeding people! I am putting together shrimp kabobs marinated in my homemade tequila orange cilantro marinade. I also made a homemade salsa and a dill crab spread for crackers. Sangria with fresh oranges, tequila with salt and lime. Anyone have an extra bottle of margarita mix? AHHHHHHHHH, I feel a party coming on!
Misplacedcowboy, thanks again for your kind offer. Everything was paid for in advance. Had it not been, we would have taken you up on your generous invitation. Oh, yeah, and it looks like you may not have to be subject to that pouty lip. My friend who's coming is borrowing a kayak from someone so I can paddle (swoosh! swoosh!) She's the best!
