YES! I never thought of that, but same with my dog. When she curls up next to me and I'm talking to her, she always puts her one paw over my mouth, as if to say "shut up and pet me".

How about the exhaust from one of those old outboard motors with the gas tank built in on top. You know....the ones that leave a blue smoke trail behind you as you go across the lake.
Reminds me of my Grandpa and going fishing with him when I was a kid.

Aaah...thanks for those memories of old! LOL I used to volunteer to run them off, just to get out of the class! ;o) But I do remember one teacher who always had to tell me, "Kat...you know you're going to get a bloody nose!" LOL But yes...I can recall that aroma, thinking of it! LOL
More odd aromas most people despise...cabbage, broccolli, or brussell sprouts cooking! I know they can stink up a kitchen in no time...but I happen to love the smell of the latter! LOL

Have you ever tasted lightning...if you are close to getting hit and your hair stands up you can taste the electricity...it tastes metallic.
Love the smell after a good storm.
I ride bike and if I ride around sunset I will go through little "pools" of air in low spots that are different temperatures and they quite often will hold the odor of that spot....mostly like a swampy odor, but not always.
