I just learned about this awful accident from Buckeyecutie tonight when on my way home from work- She called me and left me a msg on my cell phn- I'm just now getting on my computer and reading all the posted notes and updates- I live in CW, off Rt 33, and travel it all the time- Since they have redone the highway with the bypass, motorists just FLY down that road, and there are sections, like where Jimm was on Allen Rd, that don't have traffic lights to slow down the traffic- Allen Rd has been a very bad intersection for years, and when I lived in Pickerington, not too far from there, I tried my hardest to get a traffic light installed there, but to no avail- St Highway Patrol all said there needed to be a certain # of accidents there before considering a light! How awful we have to wait for people to be hurt or worse before taking safety measures!
However, I'm SO glad to hear all are doing better than expected- we need to keep our sense of humor levels up so we can help them all when the going gets tough and they need to laugh! Laughter makes endorphins which aid in healing, both physically and emotionally-
They all will be in my prayers and thoughts for a complete recovery- Please let them know for me- God bless them all!

I also wanted to express my feelings for those parties involved. Am glad to hear that the accident wasn't very severe. A friend of mine just broke his collarbone in a motorcycle accident and they are not operating as of yet; although he is on morphine and oxycontin for pain. I understand that a broken collarbone is horrible !! They will be in my thoughts and prayers as well.

This is tragic news but on the other hand, it could have been much much worse.
Wishing them all a very speedy recovery and only the best days to come in life!

My best wishes, thoughts & prayers to Jimm, Michelle & family, God Bless you Jimm and Michelle. I am so glad, even though there will be lots of time needed for healing, that everyone is ok from this accident and that it wasn't as severe as it could have been. When Jimm called me late Sunday afternoon, I contacted as many as I could including Wayne. We all where so sad when we first heard the news and so worried about Michelle because we really didn't know how bad until later on. Thank you Wayne and Dawn for keeping us updated and thanks for giving me the number for Jimm's room so that Michelle could talk to him for the first time since the accident. All she talked about early this morning was about getting out of the hospital to go home. She knew who I was, so she should be ok ~ but there is going to be a need for lots of time for proper healing! She doesn't remember anything about the accident just in case any of you wanted to ask her about it. Don't be afraid to tell people you love them because you never know what may be in store for you later that day. We here on POF are like family and I love you all, especially Jimm and Michelle.... Get well soon!!!!
Dennis ~ that was a good one, you are way too funny! But, I know the real reason Jimm wants to stay so bad at beth's home for recoup.... Should I tell them Beth?
Jimm kept saying over and over again ~ I need a nurse!!!!! And a sponge bath!!!!!

Jimm was in great spitis and laughing this afternoon (although i don't recommend making him laugh while he's still sore). he was very lucky and seems like blessed by so many that care. we thought about putting a pof event sign up sheet in the lobby.
life changes in a heartbeat folks, thank goodness for plenty of friends

was so glad to hear that Michelle was not in my unit. I deal with the major accidents. so even though she is in the hospital she is on a good floor.
I work a long shift tommorrow so may stop in and see her. although she has no idea who I am and just might scare her having on my hospital outfit.
I know she will need lots of rest which of course one knows that is easy to get in the hospital.
just so glad things are not as bad as they could of been.
am thinking of all of you even if I don't know everyone.

Its amazing how when something like this happens how close it brings us all back together. Jimm being who he is touches allot of our lives every week. This was a terrible accident and I hope all heal very quickly. I know from experience from when I broke my leg awhile back what it meant to have caring friends to be there for you in a time of need. It really means allot. I never have met Michelle, but I hope her and her children heal also. Jimm get better , we are all praying for all of you.

Just wanted to add some thoughts, and a prayer for everyone in the accident. I'm so glad to hear all are on the mend. Jimm really did an outstanding job getting the bonfire together, and I was happy to meet him at BBL in May. Just goes to show, you can be the safest driver on the road, but it only takes an instant of someone else's stupidity to end it all. That was too close.

If I am not mistaken the surgery is mostly for his elbow. He told us yesterday they need to put 2 metal plates in and the surgery would be just below a full recontruction of his elbow.

If this is wrong please correct me.

Hello folks. Jimm called me this morning. He said that the docs were going to send him home today originally. However, he opted to stay instead of leaving and coming back for the operation on Wednesday. He said he did talk to Michelle (I don't know when), but she was really still out of it at that time to respond much. He says he is really concerned for her and really hopes that she makes a full recovery. All is all, he appears to be in good spirits and is hoping to rest up big time after he is out of the hospital. If we could all remember him and Michelle in our thoughts and prayers, I'm sure they both would appreciate it. God bless all.

Is she in 1n 1022 Rhodes. I work tomorrow so can stop by and see her when I get ready to leave.
Will check tommorrow and see if she is still there I did not even think to ask if she had gotten move for some reason.
Sorry stupid me.

I'm so sorry to hear about the accident!! Life is so fragile, thank goodness everyone will be okay!!

Jimm is one of the nicest guys I've ever met, he came up to visit with a group of friends to the Sidelines party a few months back...... I had the privilage to sit and chat with him for a bit and he shared with me the desires of his heart.... the woman who wins his heart will be very happy, indeed!!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your friend Michelle and her kids for a speedy recovery!!

So many great people on here..... who says you get what you pay for.....we've gotten so much more.......
