Posted: 7/1/2008 4:12:27 AM | Was great to see a home nations player with some balls.. Henman was so insipid, he just seemed to be a nonentity on court.. Was great to see Murray getting psyched and fighting every last point even when all seemed lost....
To me he always has been a Scot and always will be ... Come on you grumpy Scottish little toerag ... We love it ... Have to confess to a yum moment when he flashed those biceps lol... | |

Posted: 7/1/2008 10:33:54 AM | See is it a result for British tennis? I mean Murray considers himself Scottish not British, he's said as much in the past, much like David Coulthard. So for me it's not like Henman or say Jenson Button who both wear the Union Jack?
Last night he managed a come-back which was pretty much down to crowd support but in all honestly he's never seemed like a very nice guy to me and last night's play wasn't spectacular and I doubt he'll get past Nadal to the Semi's. | |

Posted: 7/1/2008 11:04:14 AM | | No but when players loose their composure it's all over, I just see the TV constantly promoting Murray, but in actual fact he just doesn't seem very nice and the whole British things is awkward at best. I think that really showed when the new nobody - Chris Eaton came on the scene last week and generated more excitement from his 2nd round match than Murray had ever had to that point. | |
