Posted: 7/11/2008 4:59:54 PM | I booked the 4:30 zip tour and plan to do dinner afterwards..so might consider car pool if you live in Victoria/Esquimalt area and don't plan to stay out too late....I'm not good with that for work the next day....lol
This is my first time at both ziplining..and doing something through POF...I thought I may as well see how this all works? I'm looking forward to it! | |

Both my daughters and my one son in law did this Zipline a couple of months ago and had a blast. Of course they don't have a fear of heights and are much younger and adventurous than dear ole Mum!!! HHHmmm guess the Motorcycle course does come under adventurous but that was on the ground. ...

( The ziplines location at the 17 Mile Pub is just on the outskirts of the Sooke boundary after Langford- you are going out of your way if you go all the way into Victoria to pick someone up and and backtracking if you pick anyone up in Sooke!) | |

I am SOOOOOOO glad I did this, it's the most amazing experience ever ! Even better than a roller coaster ride or ... oh never mind ! JUST DO IT !!! We already have interest to go again, plus the food was great and the music afterwards topped off the night nicely.
We didn't have as many turn out, which was disappointing, but the ones who did were a great group. Nobody fainted or chickened out (well there was ONE person who had many excuses, and didn't go after all - SHE knows who SHE is). SHE got the rubber CHICKEN award because we saw right through her B.S. One of the girls got the "Flying Screaming Monkey" (a finger slingshot) for being the best SCREAMER. I wouldn't dare give one of the guys that award, although there was a runner up - GGGGG wonder who that was??? 
Thanks everyone for sharing the experience & hope to see more swingers at the next event!

Seriously (not that I'm not being serious!) I hope to reschedule. The music WAS great - the video taken by Old Yeller (ha ha!) sure showed how much fun the hostess had, and by the way hostess - thanks very much for organizing this, flying creatures and rubber dangling pieces notwithstanding.
