Posted: 7/4/2008 9:59:32 AM | I have copd, so everytime I have trouble breathing, which is everytime I get up out of a chair and try and walk, I sigh and say, Why did I start smoking all those years ago. It was the dumbest thing I could have ever done. Little did I know 25 years later I was going to end up with a lung disease. Oh well, that's life. | |

Posted: 7/10/2008 9:15:36 AM | To those who asked...sholder lesions that need to be operated on in order to give me full movement back to my right arm. Hurt at work...no workmens comp..no help getting better either.
I will make it...one way or another...just a matter of getting things fixed, proving in court that the company and workmens comp tried to screw me, then going back to work. Proving they tried to screw me is the easy part...getting fixed up...that is the hard part.

Most days while commuting to the office... sigh... I wish I had a flying carpet.
After finishing a piece of cake... sigh... I often wish I had another.
When it turns cold outside... sigh... I wish to feel a warm breeze dancing on my skin again.
Upon waking up from a particularly delightful dream... sigh... I wish I could fall back to sleep and keep dreaming. | |

today though, listening to a friend talk about taking someone out, and being excited to meet a new person.....
i was sighing, saying i wish....
that they would take me out. ^^
i think this is a really nice thread subject, it makes me think about lots of things....
the romance in some of my favourite stories always is to bring a lovely sigh of wishful thoughts. : ] | |

Posted: 7/20/2008 7:17:11 PM | Meoowzie, I hope your foot feels better soon. My mom broke her wrist and had a really bad time with it so I empathize completely.
I would not mind having billions so that I can retire young like that. But I love my work as an artist and probably will continue to "work" until I am in my 80s or beyond, God willing. Seeing someone hate their job makes me sigh because I feel so badly for people trapped in jobs that they hate. to anyone enduring such a situation. | |
