| Grandma, show us your new tattoo! Posted: 9/1/2008 2:35:06 PM | Don't blame me, sista...I didn't bump. But I wasn't going to take the insults lying town from a gang of scar freaks.
And POF wouldn't let me use my username, Denhunter, which I use all over the web. I have no idea why, since I kept my account and used it regular.

| Grandma, show us your new tattoo! Posted: 9/2/2008 10:03:20 AM | Tatoos might look sexy on a pretty 20 year old. I have read that a LOT of men and women regret them when they start a real career.
Tatoo removal is big business and expensive and does not always work. Like wearing long sleeves in August to cover that tat?
That rose on a breat or butt might look good when it is firm. But when it sags, it looks disgusting.
If you are having a mid life crisis, buy a Harley, travel, get laid by a young guy if you can. But don't mess up your body.

This site is nothing but cnesorship and control. Men are treated like shit and women can do anything. Hope that answers your question.
Don't beleive me on the censorship?

Actually,, one of my profile pictures shows a little of mine... Still,, I get the occasional e-mail, asking if that's a tattoo... Good grief,, is that the best opening line you can come up with?

| Grandma, show us your new tattoo! Posted: 9/8/2008 6:07:35 PM | | As a Pro Tattoo Artist with over 40 years in the trade, since 1968 I can personnely say that I have tattooed more Grandma's than I can remember. Tattoos are for the people that want them, and for what ever there reasons. For a person to judge you for some ink on your body, makes me wounder what do they really think? I have been judged for my Tattoos most of my adult life, by people that never got to know the man I am or didn't want to know, it's there lost is all I can say. Grandma you get what you want.... | |

Posted: 9/8/2008 6:09:07 PM | | As a Pro Tattoo Artist with over 40 years in the trade I can personnely say that for more years than I can remember I have been placing Tattoos on Womem and Men who would be considered " Over the hill" by anyone under the age of 35. Tattoos are for the people that wants them, so if you want them and like them thats all that matters. I've been looked down on most of my adult life because of my body suite, but those people never got to know the gentle soul that lives inside, or didn't wanted to know. There lost may be my gain, because over the last 15 years the Tattoo trade has made a huge turn around and I know a few artist that are making as much money as some Doctors. So go figure....Grandma you get what you want,Richard0074u

| Grandma, show us your new tattoo! Posted: 9/8/2008 7:03:21 PM | I believe most tattoos are a beautiful form of art. I am a 57 year old mother of 3 and grandmother of 3. I have 3 tattoos, all with special meanings. And I am going for my fourth one. Within the last year, I have had my eyebrow, tongue, nose, naval and nipples pierced. All for myself. The jewelry I wear is very dainty and feminine. To each their own. I have no regrets. | |

| Grandma, show us your new tattoo! Posted: 9/8/2008 7:15:55 PM | Richard...new to forum posting, hon??
Katstam...I think that rocks! Tell me honestly...with the nip piercings...did he make them more sensitive? Hurt much? Aftercare worse than the piercing, like the naval piercing? LOL I am seriously considering it...and would love to hear the experience from someone who actually has had it done!

| Grandma, show us your new tattoo! Posted: 9/8/2008 9:33:28 PM | HarleyKat -
I got my nipples pierced almost a year ago. I can't say they made them more sensitive, but I think they look great.
It hurt like crazy for those few seconds while it was being done, but aftercare was a breeze. My piercing place recommends covering the piercings, using a moist dressing like Tegaderm, which lasts several days to a week. They healed quickly and with no pain, no irritation, no infection.
The other thing my piercer told me was to start with a barbell. It heals quicker, and you can always switch to hoops later, if that is the look you want - me, I like the barbells better.
My boyfriend LOVES them!

| Grandma, show us your new tattoo! Posted: 9/8/2008 11:55:48 PM | I had always wanted to get a tattoo but could never really decide on what I wanted. I didn't want what most the other women I knew had, such as little butterflies, hearts or flowers. Nothing ever struck my fancy so just put it out of my mind.
That is until I became a grandma. I then knew exactly what I wanted. And when my second granddaughter was born 3 years ago, I got it. On my left shoulder blade, not too big, not too small ... a long stem red rose with their names in the leaves. I have left it so that the stem can be extended and more leaves added if I have more grandchildren in the future. I absolutely love it and it has so much meaning to me!!
I think it is an individual decision and no one has the right to tell someone what they should or should not do to their own body. I will never regret getting it.

Yeah... like an UNtattooed saggy a** is sooooo hot. For those of you who like to live in denial about what gravity is doing to our bodies, just pretend you don't see the tattoo either. On second thought... do us both a favor and just walk the other way.

| Grandma, show us your new tattoo! Posted: 9/9/2008 11:28:17 AM | ^^ Bravo...excellant point, WindRoper! How do you think breast implants and stuff look at same age? ;) LOL
Shore66....hmmm...have heard differing stories on the whole sensitivity thing. I thought it was one of the main reasons to do such...and one of the reasons I am considering such. ;O) Did they make you LESS sensitive, by chance?? (Cause I don't want a high chance of that, happening!)
Someone joked with me about nip piercings....When they start to head south, you can attach a chain to them and toss it over the back of your neck and keep those puppies perky! ;O)
|
| Grandma, show us your new tattoo! Posted: 9/10/2008 1:39:26 PM | | Harleykat------The nip piercings did make them more sensitive, they stay hard all the time , especialy when they get cold! Didn't hurt much, the guy who did them thought he had lost his touch and ask me if I was going thru a mid-life crisis. Aftercare was better than the naval, healed very quick. I'm glad I had it done. Just do it girl !! | |
|
| Grandma, show us your new tattoo! Posted: 9/10/2008 3:30:38 PM | | I just MIGHT do that real soon, katstam! Having a POF party at a place that hosts a tat and piercing shop...hehehe...what the hey! | |
