Msg19 .

floaters are little black things that float around in your vision, sometimes you get them if you get up too quickly.

As a speccy wearer meself I don't mind women wearing them.

its become kind of a stereotype in books and movies that the women removes her glasses.. lets down her hair and becomes a ravening sexy beast.....

Some people (of either sex) really suit glasses and they can look very sexy. Other people don't suit them at all. I don't think I've ever been put off a guy because he was wearing glasses even if he didn't particularly suit them. It's not what I'd see as the most important thing. I'm much more vain about myelf though. I wear glasses for driving and if I'm on the computer for a long time. I've never found any that suit me so I really hope I don't get to the stage where I have to wear them all the time. I won't wear contacts as I hate the thought of deliberately sticking something in my eye.

Honeybee, your glasses suit you, Im a spec wearer too but never feel that attractive in mine, have had contacts years ago but they iritated my eyes after awhile, so it was back to specs. I have just got a new pair of Vogue specs but not sure about them yet.

I am now officially a part-time glasses wearer.

I have to say I'm rather liking mine but then I don't have to wear them all the time.

Honeybee would look great with or without specs. I used to wear specs because of a myopic right eye, the left eye being okay. Being accident-prone, I walked into a lamp-post and broke the lens for the left eye and didn't bother to replace it. Big mistake!
Friends would wonder if there was a lens for the left eye and stab a finger where the lens should have been and poke me in the eye.

and apparently messages that are trying to compliment you on such outstanding beauty ( yet again ) are too short so therefore i must add more compliments and hopefully this will pass the filter that does not allow me to just give a very short but sweet compliment .

Blimey !!! This thread was never started with any intention to draw attention to me and my spex ... oh dear ... but to those who were so nice and lovely, I say thank you. And to those fellow spex wearers old and new, I salute you and send you salutations ..!

I wear specs, everything is fuzzy without them, I detest having to wear them but can't summon the courage to try contacts. So I put up with the specs, they however can be a pain, they get in the way (sometimes even get knocked off) whilst enjoying a really passionate snog!

I only had to start wearing glasses shortly after I got wed, though I suspect I needed them before then. Not that my Ex was a minger.

Would that Librarian type be half as sexy if the transformation from a dowdy spec wearing frump of a Librarian wasn't so spectacular when she shed the glasses and shook the hair out of a bun, pass them tissues!!!

On the right girl (Honeybee, for instance :-) glasses can be a real turn-on.
On the wrong girl glasses can be a real turn-off.

But glasses or lack thereof is entirely subordinate to what's behind them.

I'm often told I look intelligent when I wear mine. But I prefer the dumb look and only wear them when I need to.
My glasses have never been a problem in the dating game. Why would it, have you seen me lately.

No, i quite like women who wear glasses, i also wear glasses and contact lenses.
I think there sexy on a woman, though when both partners wear them they can be a pain when kissing.
