Posted: 6/13/2005 7:39:11 PM | The Roots - back when I was in College. They started it off with Jill Scott as an opener and then the Roots came on....
They had a whole light show set up to coinside with beats and by the end they had the whole audience singing the choruses on que...No one was sitting down that night...!!!

But specifically moreso, the one that was in Hamilton on June 1st where not only did my friend get me free tix - wicked seating too - but along came backstage passes  | |

Posted: 6/16/2005 2:30:22 AM | | recently saw the magic band in a small venue in portsmouth,england,very good,all old beefheart tracks.saw blue cheer 2 years ago again in a small venue.great if you like them.best gig l did was in 1969/70.lt was a blues festival in bath for a day.john peel was the compare...the line up included ..liverpool scene,blodwyn pig,nice,chicken shack,john mayhall,ten years after,the original fleetwood mac.led zeppelin had only just formed,n they were head n shoulders above the rest of the line up.everyone went wild.it was so fresh n new ,raised the stakes way up.... | |

Posted: 6/22/2005 11:04:31 PM | NOFX, Dropkick Murphies and Lars Fredrickson and the **stards at the Croation Culture Centre. Snuck in 2 mickeys of Rye strapped under me arms not to mention the Bud in the secret spot in the collar of my Steel Toes. That show rocked.
