Posted: 8/9/2005 9:15:47 AM I had a great concert going summer in '87. I saw DOA, 7seconds, TSOL, the Damned, and the Cro-Mags all as headliners at 1st avenue 7th street entry in Minneapolis MN. Best was probably "Age of Quarrel" by Cro-Mags. Other than that some of the festivals would have to be the most fun the first lollapalooza was great. I hope to see many more bands and show in my days, it's such a great thing, live music. Donald Fagen is such a fascinating figure to watch - good voice too. The Eagles (minus Don Felder...sob), were superb. Don Henley really does have a great voice and Joe Walsh was hillarious. They played for three hours - real value for money even though the tickets were £45. Goldfrapp were very good, but only played for just over an hour. My fave group didn't fail to inpress in that short time though. Best gig for me though was a Genesis tribute band called 'The Musical Box'. Now that was amazing.
