| The best concert you ever attended. Posted: 1/3/2006 12:47:47 AM | seen some good ones, so here's a few 1. The Weakerthans @ Sugar in 05, perfectly mixed and intimate. Best lyrics in modern music in my opinion. 2. Meshugga w/ Strapping Young Lad @ The Commodore. Devon from SYL is a maniac and I worship the groun he sweats on. Meshugga was a little boring but their sound was absolutely captivating 3. Metric w/ Death From Above 1979 @ Sugar. DFA1979 had the hugest drum sound ever! Emily Haines is amazing. 4. The Skatallites @ Legends. The grand-daddy's of Ska 1hr and 50minutes of dance madness with those grizzled old Jamaicans. 5. Cryptopsy w/ Candiria @ The Ice House. The jarring rythmns of Candiria won them a die hard fan that night and I was brutalized by Cryptopsy in the best way possible!
Honourable mention: The Gaza Strippers @ The Ice House. Coolest band name ever! Tandem behind the head guitar solo's on old school SG's. Need I say more.

I can still feel the chills i had running down my spine.
