| | Time to come clean: What keeps you from meeting someone?Page 15 of 15 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15) | I can't stand the whole "checking each other out" scenario. It makes me very anxious. Like I have to be 'perfect' in his eyes (just like my pic) otherwise he will run. That is what stops me meeting guys.
On the other hand, if I was at my local gym and a guy happened to ask me out (hasn't happened yet.......lol) then I would say ok. Why? Because I would know that he's already seen me and liked what he saw and vice versa. It didn't become a huge thing. | |

My guess, would be; in the wrong place at the wrong time? Mistaken ideas? Stereotypes, profiling? Who knows, if you figure it out let me know  | |

In other words, I don't want to keep my mind fluttering through the "does he like me back?" nor do I want to think of the best way to say "not interested". Never sure completely what I'm after, as many guys I'm sure are too, sometimes I think I want to go for long term, other times, I just want to be left alone. I don't want to put someone through that, so I keep from meeting anyone. Plus after everyone sees how long this is, not many are going to want to meet me!
