Just put something on your profile that will amuse YOU then if someone else finds its funny then its a bonus, at least then you know you have the same sense of humour !!
Its similar to my posts or topics on here , I dont care who likes them or not ....it amuses me !!

Posted: 7/1/2008 7:20:39 AM | hahaha i'm not fond of lieing. I hate people who lie to me so i try my best NOT to lie to others (unless it's at work to save my own backside obviously). But yeah, everything thats written on my profile gives some form of small insight into my vast personality, it's not too long but hopefully not too short either.
Although recently i have started to wonder if maybe i might not be getting replies could possibly be because i'm absolutely pants at the first message. I've never been very good at "breaking the ice", but after that is done, i can chatter on forever and a day. So possibly thatmight be my problem? :P

I'm easily entertained and shamefully i laugh at my own jokes a fair amount. :D But yeah i have put a little bit of humour in there, although it sounds a little cheesey, but it's better than what i was gonna put in there which would've just made me sound completely weird. | |

Absolutely. Sometimes they can find it a bit intimidating
1. Dont put anything too negative in your profile (this makes them think you still have serious emotional issues to deal with)
2. Dont lie (yet you'll be suprised how many do!)
3. Try to make it sound as interessting as possible.
4. Think about what makes you unique and try to empthasise it.
5. The length isnt important: its the content. You dont need to put in all your details just a summary really.
6. Make sure you include what you're looking for (if you know lol?)
In other words, do exactly what women don't do... | |

So, the profiles are merely our way of saying "Look how charming, disarming, smart, cute and caring I desperately want to be" (or in some cases unwittingly "Look how scary I am, AVOID AT ALL COSTS")
Woman want Honesty. A bit of the excitement but not the chaos a 'badboy' will offer. Love. Consideration. Trust. A man who understands how buying limitless shoes (e.g 'I need a pair to match my mascara') works. Security. Longevity. And someone to open pickle jars at Christmas. | |

Who gives a toss what women want to see?
The whole point is to be yourself and write what you want to. I really can't see the point in concocting some elaborate bullsh1t in an attempt to interest women with whom you really have nothing in common.
Once they meet you they're bound to find out that you're not really a charmingly romantic sex god who's hung like a donkey anyway so the whole exercise would be a complete waste of time really. | |

I just want to see the truth. I dont want to read a profile written solely on what somebody wants us to think they are like,i want to read what they are really like.
Keep it relatively short and factual as i cant be arsed with reading essays

Well, you did ask and Gucci gave an honest answer! And why not. (well maybe not on the first message, but after that, hey ho)
Back on topic.
Be nice, have time for me, dont be ignorant, kiss me, hugg me at any and all times (not just when you want sex), dont forget my birthday (and dont bother with massive OTT presents, put some thought into it instead) and dont take me for granted, sounds easy enough to me.
I am not to fussed about the toilet seat, dont mind you having your own friends, going out with them on your own and generally having your own life too. Both of the above two paragraphs work both ways by the way. | |
