Does your child have the right not to invite somebody to his/her party?

In the UK the number of pupils in each class is around 30 so financially it is not always possible to invite every child in the class.Besides imagine the stress for the parents knowing that their children would be expected to attend up to 30 birthday parties a year, presuming that they only have 1 child,if the parents happen to have 3 school age children it would just be impossible!.

My way of dealing with the situation of my own child not being invited is to explain to them that it is just not possible for the mummies and daddies to look after all the children in the class at the same time and that i know she is sad at missing out but she will be invited to other parties.

The parents of the birthday child also generally send candy to the school for the child to give out to the others. This works well as all children get a small treat.
