| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/20/2008 5:17:32 PM | I didn't miss him, he seems to follow me around!!
I will be there next week.
By the way Northern, your tread nosing is in my garage waiting for some minor tune-ups to it, should get done this week.
|
| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/20/2008 5:27:21 PM | NL - you have awesome injuries!! I will probably have two sprained ankles next week - the gods getting revenge!
Scarlett - please reserve the big round table for next Sunday AM. I suspect we may be an even larger crowd!
Didn't your boss get the memo?? One reason we come is to see you!
The food is just bonus!
Thanks again for the fabulous breakfast!

|
| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/21/2008 6:05:05 AM | Fly hun, that is exactly why she was ticked.... she's afraid that once I go... no one will come in
( and thanks, makes me feel great to hear ya'll like me
The gal that is going to be working Sundays is a fabulous cook and all around sweet person... so please, if you like the place do continue to go in.
Have a great week ya'll!
|
| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/21/2008 6:15:28 PM | Hey Scarlet!
You are ONE of the reasons... I am now addicted to many things... the big round table just calls me....
It is a great place to get in some reading before other fishies appear.... is is really easy for me (transit rider) to get to...
The food is to die for (spinach salad on Sunday???) ... and great places to go in Inglewood after brunch....
Please assure your boss that we will be regulars... and break in the new gal!!!
Duffster will impress her with his wiley ways... NL... will bedazzle her with the latest war wound.
The rest of us will stuff our faces!!!
I am sure that I speak for all of us... we adore Joanne, the waitress supreme!
warm hugs! enjoy your last week!!!

| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/21/2008 6:29:05 PM | Thanks to everyone who showed up - it was a great meal as always and good company to boot.
Scarlet - no promises, but it may be tempting to make a day trip down just to have one more breakie there with you at the helm... We'll see how the week goes.
Hope to see you all soon!!

| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/21/2008 7:22:34 PM | Scarlet.
My tot loved his breaky......... he floored the girls with his appetite. He asked when we are going back......... he wanted dinner there tooooo
|
| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/22/2008 11:02:21 AM | Awwww that is so awesome!!
I'm so looking forward to Sunday!!!
and I forward the kind words for Joanne too... she just luvs ya'll as well!
|
| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/25/2008 12:02:18 AM | Scarlet, best you warn the ladies that I am coming in this week, and I guess there should also be a box of kleenex kept close to the chef du jour, as you have indicated a weakness already!!
Another thread has been started to get a group from Edmonton to come down, so watch out!! We may need 1 large table and several satellite tables strategically placed at the corners of said round table!!
If Tessav comes down, have the band ready, she and Northern Lights could want to do the Newbie dance on the center table!!
|
| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/25/2008 5:31:03 AM | I have a sneaky feeling that Kane's will be closed from 11-3 for POF'rs only as they will take over the whole place.
Duffy, NL, is prohibited from dancing on the tables unless we have an Emergency room Doctor and a dozen nurses waiting in the wings to patch her up. Stars Air ambulance waiting in the parking lot and a surgical team on standby at the hospital.

| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/26/2008 6:06:12 PM | Personally I would love to see the lunch menu instead of breakfast.
Maybe then my son wont steal toast from NL.
|
| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/26/2008 6:16:28 PM | You coming down tomorrow too mommy? With Mr. Cutie Patootie?

| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/26/2008 6:18:04 PM | | Ya, besides you think Northern could say no to that cute little face, I know I would have trouble, toddlers tend to walk all over me once they realize how little resistance I have. | |
|
| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/26/2008 6:18:23 PM | Yeah Mr. Cutie Patootie is still convinced he can bring you home......... He wants to know when he gets to see you again.
Just as long as everyone knows if they have french fries he may steal them.
|
| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/26/2008 6:21:57 PM | No... he can't bring me home, I'm not that kind of girl...
You guys should come over sometime, you're close enough to me. Once I get the dogs smelling pretty again, he'd love them, but I have kitties he can play with in the meantime!
Kitties love kids! | |
|
| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/26/2008 6:29:26 PM | | NL..... we can do that..... maybe one night once your son is back we can do a BBQ? | |
|
| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/26/2008 6:35:50 PM | yeah, that'd be cool, the kids would like that for sure!
Hopefully I'll have the tub hooked up by then, just need to get the wiring and find an electrician and I'm good to go.
Ummmm.... any electricians out there?
I suspect your son is not too fussy about what he eats, as long as he gets meat right? Much like my boy. Total carnivore!
|
| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/26/2008 6:43:45 PM | You're right. He is a carnivor.
But also loves his veggies Yesterday he went nuts at dayhome as the radishes were ready for picking........ so he picked 4 dozen or so........ and ate at least a dozen.
wonder if they will do both menus in the morning tomorrow? hmmmmmmmmm
|
| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/26/2008 7:52:37 PM | They don't serve both menus at the same time. Breakfast until noon, I believe. I will be there for breakfast.
Hope to see a bunch.
Might walk, but you know how that goes, if I'm there at 10:30, I'm there.
|
| Calgary Sunday breakfast Posted: 7/26/2008 10:32:43 PM | I wish I can come, but I have a big annual outdoor BBQ that need to help prepare food. And gosh, the weather forecast says it will rain tomorrow, but do we believe weather forecast? | |
