Oh my god.......

Celtic, no offense really but.....
That liberal stuff is exactly why we as a society are where we are.
Had we executed these (I'm not calling them humans because they are not) in the first place these so called jobs you think might be lost would'nt be.
They'd be there for some criminals that should be in prison but are not for the very reason of overcrowding and cost control.....
It is very much a money issue, everything seems to be these days.

The chronic offenders of which this thread is about are the very people that should be behind bars, being rehab'd, not out and about committing more crime....

I'm not one for keeping the murder's and the like alive, they are a drain on our society in more ways than one, what's the point anyways?
If an animal attacks a human we know what it's fate is.......It's high time humans are dealt with in the same manner, quickly and fairly.......an eye for an eye.

Maven: Science is learning that the structure of the human brain is very much impacted by early trauma experiences. There is now actual research that shows this. We know what goes on in the brain that causes people to turn into murderers without consciences. A good article that describes some of this is the following: Aggression and Violence: The Neurobiology of Experience. AACAP Development, Spring, 1996. (Find it at: http://www.childtrauma.org/ctamaterials/aggression.asp) Dr. Perry, Bruce D. Md. Phd.

Basically, an infant comes into the world with 100 billion neurons in their brains but the wiring is not there. When a young child is exposed to traumatic environmental factors such as domestic violence, child abuse, and inconsistent environments where their needs are not met by their caregivers, it causes the wiring in the brain to be different than when an infant is raised in a safe consistent, emotionally nurturing environment where all of their needs are met.

You can find Canadian research done mostly at UBC, on this topic at:
http://www.voc.sa.gov.au/EI_Crime_Prevention/EI_Hertzman.asp

There's more Canadian research at: http://ww4.ps-sp.gc.ca/en/library/publications/fact_sheets/cpsd/index.html

There is tons of research on what affects trauma have on infants and adults and I am not going to take the time to dispute that there is much viable data to support those study groups.

There is also droves of research out there looking at genetic factors and how DNA determines who we are.

If every person who suffered childhood trauma and/or abuse was to become serial killers, well then, that would be a norm wouldn't it?

Not everyone is affected the way these people are. There are so many more people that suffered far more injustices than either Olson or Bernardo have, that did not have their hardwiring rerouted as they did.

I support donating their brains for scientific research so that society might actually benefit.
