| What do you think about a girl going out alone ?
Posted: 7/2/2008 11:44:00 AM | I've been going out alone since I was 24--to bars, clubs, movies, dinner, trips, etc. Personally, I got tired of waiting around for other people to decide what they wanted to do, or being the one responsible for trying to make all the plans and arrange transportation, meeting times, etc. If it's just me, I know where I want to be, what time I want to get there, and what time I want to leave. It's so much easier that way.
Speaking from my own experience, most guys initially find it a little strange (apparently they think us ladies can't even go to the bathroom by ourselves without having a gaggle of girl friends tagging along, LOL), but overall really dig a woman who isn't afraid to be by herself.
But you do have to be careful....There are, unfortunately, in some environments, still some neanderthals out there who think that if a woman is alone and he buys her enough drinks, then he'll be able to score. ("Do you need a ride home?" LMAO...um, NO!).

Women usually tend to go to bars with other women, so going to a bar all by yourself sends out definite signals. But there is nothing wrong with that! | |

Posted: 7/2/2008 6:56:00 PM | | sometimes, i'll stop somewhere by myself after work to grab a bite. if i'm bored or in the mood to people watch or even in the mood to flirt, i'll go out to get a drink alone. it never bothers me and sometimes, i meet some really interesting people. nothing ventured, nothing gained, huh? | |
