| Ever thought your Zodiac sign could be intimidating to others? Posted: 1/23/2009 10:42:36 PM | I shy away from Gemini's as that is what my ex is and it is my exact opposite in the Zodiac world (opposites may attract but rarely work out in my experience)
I love Leo's. Even though they are exhausting because they are need constant stroking of their egos (I have lots of Leo friends) they are great partners in crime/adventure.
[quoite]Ever thought your Zodiac sign could be intimidating to others? DUH! I'm a Sadge....who wouldn't be intimidated by a fire sign....who is overwhemingly energetic !

| Ever thought your Zodiac sign could be intimidating to others? Posted: 1/24/2009 3:51:54 AM | Absolutely... I've witnessed it first hand...Women have made crosses with their index fingers; thrust them into my face and chanted, "Back, oh wicked Aries!... Back I say!"...
But c'mon, now... Way, way down deep inside, we secretly all know that this astrology & zodiac yadda is all just a pile of horse doo-doo... ( Except, of course, the part about all Scorps bein' from the Devil.)...

Sometimes i wish people would pay more attention to shoe size.
LOL! Yeah! Compatibility begins and ends with the physical.
Big feet, big hands- maybe not the most accurate indicator (an ex had unusually long feet, nicknamed her Snowshoe, which she hated. lol But she had a normal to smallish v, although the mileage was notably higher than your average traveler's). Yeah, I know, that's how women know what's cummin', but, Hey, a yardstick doesn't care what it measures. Lol.
Seems to me that the zodiac is a very elaborate construct, a tribute to the human intellect, sophisticated, but probably just scratches the surface of truth, which seems an abiding mark for most human endeavors. I have a friend, a good one, who invests heavily in this magic, and because it is largely that, imo, I don't just shrug it off. I met an Indian grad student in college whose father and uncles used this cipher in sanskrit back home. He certainly believed in the power of the real necromancy. As FantasyLand mouse learned, you gotta know how to wield the wand before you try on the robe and hat, or armies of broomsticks will dance on your head and big waves lunge at your feet.
I'm an Aquarius. I liked this stuff more when they sang songs about us. I scanned this whole thread, and didn't notice anyone mention that sign. Is the Age of A history?

Sometimes i wish people would pay more attention to shoe size. Excellent! I have unusually large feet for a woman. My nickname is Bigfoot. Growing up I didn't get new shoes, I got the box my sister's and mom's shoes came in.
Girls can be so cruel.
I've forgiven them.
Kinda sort. I'm a capricorn afterall.

Look up the horoscopes of all the serial killers in history to see if they're horoscopes are all the same or fall into a small group. It's doubt they are. There is no doubt they are all very similar as persons because of their crimes

| Ever thought your Zodiac sign could be intimidating to others? Posted: 1/28/2009 2:47:33 PM | | I am an Aquarius. I don't try to be like my sign I am just me and it's kinda scary how when I read it's attributes it's accurate. I have done my own birth chart and some friends and it was interesting to see all the information that came out. | |

| Ever thought your Zodiac sign could be intimidating to others? Posted: 1/28/2009 10:56:27 PM | I don't really bother w/ worrying about someone's zodiac sign. I know for some people they are very accurate but for others, not so much. Yes I know you need an accurate chart done. In the western zodiac I am a Capricorn, which while a few personality traits fit me, most do not. In the Chinese zodiac I am a Tiger. That one seems to fit much better personality wise. Yes there are some similarities between the two, the Chinese seems to fit me better.
Though I do agree w/ the tarot card for Capricorn-the LOL

I'm a leo. - You could probably tell just by looking at my picture. Of the 50 traits wikipedia says I should have, I consider 18 of them to be around about right.
I look up Virgo and I fit 90% of traits. Which is odd because I am Capricorn. lol
Perhap my Virgoish pragmatism prevent me from think too much about this?

| Ever thought your Zodiac sign could be intimidating to others? Posted: 1/29/2009 10:36:32 AM | | I just cringe when i see the Gemini pop up as their starsign. Automaticaly i think noooo! 3 men that treated me really bad in my life, my dad and 2 ex's were gemimis, keep telling myself its not true and shouldnt put me off finding out about a person but it really does make me put up my defenses now. | |

Better be careful or I'll organize you to death. Are your socks in alphabetical order?
Awesome!
Are there any zodiac signs you may find to be intimidating or would never be interested in? OP -- Being a Gemini myself, I have noticed that other Gemini and Pisces are the worst for me. Absolute worst. I'd like to say it's just coincidence that there's such a friction between us, but I don't believe in that much coincidence. Actually, I don't think I have any Pisces at all in my pack. LOL.
Not intimidated by them by any means, but just seriously clashing.
Libra seems to have been my best bet, with Cancer/Aquarius a close second.
I know that being a Gemini has put a lot of people off in my life. They associate the sign with "two faced", just based on my experiences. Admittedly I can wear two distinct personalities with ease, and I have an inherent duality/dual nature about most everything, but I wouldn't see it as "two faced". I actually enjoy being able to dabble in dual natures freely.
Meh. I dunno. For the most part, it's all pretty much mixed bag.

Ever thought your Zodiac sign could be intimidating to others?
Intimidating? Not sure about that. But, being smack-dab in the middle of Capricorn myself... on the odd occasion that I read my horoscope in the newspaper or wherever...hell, it puts even me to sleep!
We're the boring, steadfast ones after all.

| Ever thought your Zodiac sign could be intimidating to others? Posted: 4/9/2009 2:25:36 AM | | Libra here- not sure if my sign is intimidating; think I read somewhere that I would be most compatible with the fire signs. All I know is that Libra=scales & the scale must balance. I always look at both points of view & give the other person the benefit of the doubt before I make a decision. Am not really into astrology but if anyone can give an opinion would love to hear what you have to say | |

Hmmm. I think sign is "look out for falling rocks." To me a falling rock is intimidating.
(takes a big gulp of of coffee and is now wide awake)
Oh...Zodiac signs.
Sorry, I can't say that I'm into astrology. I can appreciate that some people have a passing interest in the belief. I can also appreciate that some have more than a casual interest in it. It's when you allow that belief to have an undue influence on your life that things get a little unnerving.
I just can't square the idea that celestial positions and planetary bodies have that much of an influence over the lives we lead. I'm sure someone with a physics background can better explain the effects of distance and gravitational effects.
As a test I once read the daily horoscope but hid the various astrological signs and found that each of the signs had something that I could interpret as applying to me. In essence, if I wanted to believe in it I could easily "read into" the particular sign advice that was being offered.
I believe it was Shakespeare who wrote in Julius Caesar "The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, But in ourselves, that we are underlings."
But if you are only taking it casually, and pay scant attention to it then I'll be the first to say no harm, no foul.
Regards
