I've seen pics, and as others have said, sure they stay round-- like a ball in a stocking, but from what I've read, rarely does a woman go without needing a tune-up, either because of something going wrong years later (ouch), or just because they need the adjustment.

I'd love to perk mine up, if I did, I'd look like Dolly Parton! lol

A friend of mine who has implants told me that implants make you loose some of the sensation in your breasts. I couldn't get implants because my own girls are already plentiful, but somewhere down the road I might consider a lift, maybe...we'll see where the girls go from here.

P.S. Funny Girl, there cream by Fresh called Creme Ancienne, it is wonderful and you can use it all over and it really does help. However, it is pricey, it comes in two sizes, one is like $135 and the other is $250, but the larger jar will last a year and I think if you look on ebay you can get it for less if you are interested.

Sunny Texas, I hate to tell you this, but women who have had breast augmentation (in the early days) have been exhumed, and guess what???? "Bones and Bags" are what's left, and it creeps pathologists out.........

I have to say, CB, that were I a woman with artificial boobs, I probably would not be real worried about possibly creeping out a pathologist. Just thinking about their profession creeps me out while I am alive. Could be a sort of revenge...

Sorry, bras might make your breasts sag more.

You have ligaments in your breasts. They are designed to hold your breasts up. If you wear a bra for years—or, worse yet, wear a bra 24 hours a day for years—these ligaments will atrophy (get weaker and smaller).

The good news: If you stop wearing a bra these ligaments should get stronger and you should find your breasts perkier within about about three months.

Even if you have huge breasts...

Even if you have huge breasts, you should see significant improvement.

I'm sorry...I find this to be a crock of crap. When my Mom had a mastectomy on her left breast 20 years ago, it was reconstructed. The good breast was then uplifted to match the new implant. She was told to wear the bra as much as possible...and she did-until about 5 years ago. The difference in 5 years of not wearing a bra was huge. Ienvied her breasts till that point! Now, the implant has begun to sag but it doesn't hang anywhere near as far as the 'good' breast. Don't get me wrong-they're still a nice pair for a 70 something old woman but I think you get my drift. The original implant was silicone which was replcaed with saline because of leakage.

The older women that I've known that appeared to have firmer breasts, were the ones that wore their bras the most-as most women were taught back in the day. The quote does say 'some' bras cause can cause them to sag - not all bras. Why is that?

I don't worry about it because I think the girls are fine the way they are... but I'm not tapping on a woman's ego who feels better afterwards... and just think, while mr 70's man is looking at ms 70s she's also looking at him... so enjoy all.... and if you're still thrivin' into old age just think of all the fun you've had...

Well, I have seen first hand what happens to them. I was a clinic nurse for years in and office that was specifically for people over 65. We occassionally had some lady come in that had had implants. I had to do EKG's on nearly all of the patients at least once a year and it was very normal for the older ladies breasts to fall to the side. I would have to lift the breasts and move them around on the larger breasted ladies to put the leads on. But the occassional lady that had breast implants remained firm and stood up like she was an 18 year old that had never had a baby or breast fed. They were so perky but they were hard and did not feel natural. I happen to feel like Sybil Shephard said, " I like them natural. You can wear them up, you can wear them down, or you can wear them side to side". I think I will just keep mine like they are.

Its something to think about, I know a woman that had cancer and had to have a double mastectomy at the age of 45, she is going through breast reconstruction now. Additionally, my friend may have the same problem. My advice to everyone our age is to get your yearly Mammogram.

A lovely lady that I dated a few years ago, was nicely endowed (naturally, I might add) and she had a breast lift, in her early 50's. At 55, she was still very sexy and remains so, now that she is 60.

Yes ... I've seen the sagging skin as well ... the perfectly round bumps under the sagging skin looks hideous.

But most breast augmentations are meant to be seen with clothes over them ... you know to show them off in a gorgeous gown or swimsuit or such. So to be honest, if the man who has requested them or insinuated he'd prefer the "perkies" can stand the sight of how they'll look several years down the road ... go for it.

Meh ... I'll stick to my own "little natural perkies". I haven't been wearing a bra for over 25 years and my girls aren't letting me down yet ... errr they aren't letting themselves down?
