Everything Rush says about the Reverend Jesse Jackson is true too not lies. It's not news, it's opinions formed from the Reverend Jesse Jackson's behavior and hypocrisy. An opinion that is also shared by most people including blacks. The problem here is that there are some that cannot differentiate opinion journalism from reality journalism.
Right on point furthermore if Rush were to say bigoted things (as some here have tried to claim) Jackson and Sharpton both would be calling for his firing as they did with Imus! So it's just allot of blah blah blah from disenchanted people who wish Liberal Radio could actually compete.
Barney Frank has admitted of enjoying the Rush Limbaugh Show. Conservative Talk Radio rules. Many in Congress and the House listen to Rush and Conservative radio to get a real pulse on what people think, not to mention their cutting edge on facts, not just a bunch of hoopla being spewed from the left!
Plus a listener base of over 20 million strong is unheard of in talk radio, they really would like to figure out a way to compete with El Rusbo...it's class envy at it's best!

| Talk Radio the new media outlet Posted: 7/5/2008 4:10:52 PM | No evidence? Liberal talk radio has been on the rise for the past 5 years.
Stephaine Miller is on the morning drive. She is the Daughter of Goldwater's VP Candidate and the prosecuter of the Neurenburg trials. She has a funny crew called the moops. Their show is a combination of news and humor, that makes the morning drive entertaining.
Her show is followed by the Thom Hartmann show. He is brilliant. His understanding of economics is unparralelled in talk radio. He does an exceptional job of explaining complex economic issues in layman's terms. His show is one of the FEW that Liberals and Conservatives alike will come on, because they know they will be treated with respect and be allowed to debate their issues, without rude interuptions.
Rand Rhodes follows. Unlike Bush, Cheney, Rush, Michael Wienner, Billo or any of the rest of the Chicken Hawks, she is a veteran. She is bright, independent, headstong and articulate, which seems to be all of the traits that neocons hate in their women. She is loved by her audience so much that when she resigned over first amendment isues from Air America, less than a week later she was on Nova M Radio and her show had actually increased ratings and the number of stations she was brocast on.
Locally, we have Jeff Farious after randi. We are luck to have such a sharp mind locally, I imagine he will go national some time in the near future with his talent
Mike Malloy follows. He is a bit more Liberal than the rest and a lot more angry. However, he seems to be a counter balance to Rush. Just as angry, but armed with the truth instead of lies. While I am not currently where he is, another solen election would definitely push me over the top as well.
I listen to them on 1480 KPHX. their ratings are soaring locally. They have even placed billboards up all over town, reminding the local population of how much McSame looks like 4 more years of Bush.
So, saying no one listens to liberl radio is a lot like saying Bush is smart. It just isn't supported by facts.

To be sure, conservative radio talk-show hosts have a built-in audience unavailable to liberals. People driving cars to some sort of job. It should not be surprising that when given a choice, people don't want liberal hectoring being piped into their homes and cars. It's difficult to imagine a world in which people voluntarily choose to listen to liberals. There is no evidence that it has ever happened.
This is hilarious....... It wouldn't be as funny if it wasn't true...I go into homes everyday across the Twin Cities and many are listening to talk radio but It's usually Rush or Hannity, I have yet to walk into a home that's piping in Liberal Talk Radio!

No evidence? Liberal talk radio has been on the rise for the past 5 years.
Ahhhh let's see Top 5 talk shows are all Conservative Rush just signed a 400 million dollar deal his audience last year was 18.1 million and it has grown to between 20 to 24 million already this year! Congress is trying to kill Conservative Talk show Radio or make Conservative share a market because Liberals can't keep their own audience, they keep going out of business..lol But hey think what you will...

| Talk Radio the new media outlet Posted: 7/5/2008 4:30:14 PM | | Every once in a while I listen to Talk radio and am reminded why I can never be a Republican or conservative. It seems that most of the discussions that revolve around liberal-bashing or anti-liberal is code word for anti-Black. For instance, there was a discussion about liberals getting a free ride from the govt and not working. Everybody works if they can get a job or if they are not discriminated against or lack education. Everybody wants to obtain a small business loan if they can. I just don't think liberal Whites are purposely living off the govt because they choose to instead of getting a job. The conservatives seem to use code words for race as a way to discredit Democrats. Its really sickening. We have lived in a Republican world for the last 8 years and its falling apart because of the Republicans, stop blaming democrats. | |

| Talk Radio the new media outlet Posted: 7/5/2008 4:45:25 PM | If you put restrictions on talk radio, get ready for it to be applicable to all media and watch how Middle America turns the tide to Conservative based outlets...in all categories.
We haven't failed to preserve anything. We still have it. You just don't like it because 'talk radio' is making a huge come back amongst the majority of America. The densely populated NNE and West USA are learning that people will turn back to the basics (as the saying goes) when the going gets tough, the tough get going.
More and more people are joining the ranks of Middle America and are sick and tired of the Liberal mindset. It's becoming more and more obvious as Conservative radio takes on Liberal TV and Internet Media and is winning hands down.

Your arguement continues down hill rapidly! Talk Radio is in the hands of the people that's how business grows consumers who want the service or product! In this case Conservative Talk Radio continues to flourish, I can appreciate your upset and emotional over this but Talk you your party it's their fault not the fault of Conservative thinkers! Were obviously doing just fine with the 5 top rated shows! liberal/Democrats failed them self and need to regroup and fine some talking points their party will enjoy!

This is exactly what will happen and not just middle America but mainstream Amercia with see the pathedic ploys by Congress to control their information sources! That will sit as well as the Imigration Bill did!

What seems to be the theme here is pure jealousy....their Radio talk shows fail and go under as fast as they come in, and Conservative Radio keeps right on getting bigger and bigger it scares them! Because their voice and rants are not being heard not even by their own.

Assassination' schedule announced for Congress Radio-show host says leaders won't be allowed to 'betray' nation Posted: December 06, 2006
Hal Turner
A radio talk-show entertainer whose earlier statements that he "may" have to assassinate members of Congress if the wrong people were elected Nov. 7 now has set a timetable for those killings. In a statement on his website, Hal Turner noted that a newspaper has reported that a bill granting amnesty to illegal aliens is expected to be enacted in January, when the Democratic Party takes control of the U.S. Senate and House.
"ANY MEMBER OF CONGRESS WHO INTRODUCES, CO-SPONSORS OR VOTES IN FAVOR OF ANY SUCH AMNESTY WILL BE DECLARED A DOMESTIC ENEMY AND WILL BE CONSIDERED A LEGITIMATE TARGET FOR ASSASSINATION," Turner posted on his website. From the May 17 broadcast of The Glenn Beck Program: BECK: Hang on, let me just tell you what I'm thinking. I'm thinking about killing Michael Moore, and I'm wondering if I could kill him myself, or if I would need to hire somebody to do it. No, I think I could. I think he could be looking me in the eye, you know, and I could just be choking the life out -- is this wrong? I stopped wearing my What Would Jesus -- band -- Do, and I've lost all sense of right and wrong now. I used to be able to say, "Yeah, I'd kill Michael Moore," and then I'd see the little band: What Would Jesus Do? And then I'd realize, "Oh, you wouldn't kill Michael Moore. Or at least you wouldn't choke him to death." And you know, well, I'm not sure. ....isn't he a hoot? Rush Limbaugh: “I tell people don’t kill all the liberals. Leave enough so we can have two on every campus — living fossils — so we will never forget what these people stood for.” more ann anybody??? "Some liberals have become even too crazy for Texas to execute, which is a damn shame. They're always saying -- we're oppressed, we're oppressed so let's do it. Let's oppress them."
LINDA VESTER (host): You say you'd rather not talk to liberals at all? COULTER: I think a baseball bat is the most effective way these days.
"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity."
michae reagan... We ought to find the people who are doing this,” Reagan said, “take ‘em out, and shoot ‘em. Really. Just find the people who are sending those letters…to demoralize our troops…they are traitors to this country…and shoot them. You have a problem with that? Deal with it. But anybody who would do that doesn’t deserve to live. You call them traitors–that’s what they are–and you shoot ‘em dead. I’ll pay for the bullet. micheal Weiner .... uhhh savage.... I would try her for aiding and abetting terrorism -- I'd hang her and I'd hang every lawyer who went down to Guantánamo to defend those murderers." http://www.vetvoice.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=1468

It doesn't really matter. . . No, I don't listen to the Neocon network. I can't stomach the lies, the AD HOMINEN atmosphere, the ignorance. If it really doesn't matter then why continue this friutless arguement? If you don't listen to Conservative talk radio why should we take you seriously or give any consideration to what your saying? Furthermore I don't understand why you can't or refuse to debate without calling names or trying to berate those that listen to what you do not? If were to give your arguement any credit we would have to assume that everybody who listens to Conservative Talk Radio are ignorant? That's not a very intelligent assumtion! I have yet to read anyone who listens to Conservative radio, say that those who listen to Liberal talk radio are ignorant, yet you continue to call Conservatives ignorant and other names? it really demeans any point you try to make! It's typical that when someone has no point? they call others names it makes them feel better about them self!
The 23% that still think Dubya is a good president can have their icon. Living in ignorance isn't a crime. Couldn't the same be said of the 11% who support the New Congress? you see how that works?
What you have to wonder is why pay a contract that is so far above profit levels. There is no way they will recover their investment, What are their profit levels??? please enlighten us with your wisdom? Apparently your not a business owner and understand how profits work? when you have a base of consumers of 20 plus million daily it's an advertisers dream, it reachs far beyond any news paper or T.V.commercial. You remind us nearly daily of how educated you are? I'm surprised they didn't teach you simple economics 101. To carry a rating of number one in any market commands high dollars, The Rush Limbaugh show is number one in the Talk Radio media...Oprah is number one in T.V, talk shows during the day, she made 275 million dollars last year even while her ratings fell from 2006, where's your out rage there? It's said her ratings have fallen because she supports Obama, and shortly after the Wright and Phleger tapes surfaced some of middle America has backed off of her support she once enjoyed! Even Oprah was smart enough to distance her self from that church, because of it's racial and bigoted remarks!
so I guess it is like overpaying the fullback, so he can lead block for the star running back. He doesn't carry the ball, but he effectively leads the heard.
As a life long football fan....your analogy once again fails to meet the standard of common sense....that's a team sport, any super star will tell you with out his team mates he couldn't have accomplished what he did on his own! Allow me a moment to help you better understand and make my point even more lucid....Kevin Garrnet a super star basket ball player played for Minnesota for several years and just couldn't quite get the team to the big dance...came close serval times, the first year he was traded to Boston they won the Championship! His first contract in Minnesota was for 120 millions dollars, Kevin was right out of High school, he wasn't the MVP but he was a key link in their success..... Can we move past the name calling and actually debate the issues rather then lower the bar to school yard antics?

Using this logic...then it could be said that anyone on T.V. or radio only say what their corporations want them to say? you see how that works? you can't have it both ways! your

Mostly, it's this one corporation that has a monopoly on the airwaves.
Using this logic...then it could be said that anyone on T.V. or radio only say what their corporations want them to say?
In the case of Clear Channel, this is true. Like the Dixie Chics you will not only not get hired, but they will try to black ball you from ever appearing again. Mostly though they only just let in those that tow the corporate republican propaganda.
BTW pocoloco, all that time listening to rush has paid off. You can rant the same as rush now. Maybe you could get a job at a local Clear Channel station and rant during a show right after the rush show.

The irony of this is there are equally as many Liberal shows (far to may to list) that take shots at this country and at Conservatives as well as both blacks and Jews (blog it it's there) To take sound bites out of a show can be done on either side, but it becomes redundant and petty
As a side bar I can completely understand the frustration of Americans who love this country and have lost loved ones to Terrorist and to have the UnSupreme Court rule to have Terrorist treated as citizens of this country is an absolute out rage and if their going to jail or hang anyone they should start with the judges who voted to give Terrorist the right to our court system..it underminds and goes against every concept of war criminals to be judged by their peers...(The Military) Better yet send these judges to AlQaeda and let them be judged by Al Qaeda...Then we can see the fairness of terrorist!

Actually, this is the first intelligent statement I've seen come from the Rush fans. The usual tactics of conservatives when presented with an undeniable fact is to simply ignore it. There are always fools who will stand socking wet in the pouring rain and insist it's a sunny day because someone they worship told them it was. Nothing you can do about people like that except feel sorry for them.
