Continually posting "Yeah, me too...when will it be fixed?" is not going to help. I am sure that the admin types are aware of the issue and are probably working to correct it. Remember, the site, although free for us, does generate income from the advertisements so the owner is, no doubt, working furiously to correct the issue.
The failure of the database to update could be related to a shutdown or failure of one of the servers. It is likely a problem located AT the web hosting location. The owner may not even have access to those servers other than call the webhost's help line. There is nothing we can do but wait. So chill, get a nice young rum'n coke, flash up a doob or get yourself gussied up and go out.
By the way, messaging works as does sending email. You can add favourites and you can update your profile. You just can't see updates on who is logged on...it isn't the end of the world. | |

Posted: 7/4/2008 6:30:51 PM | Hummmmm....we all have a life! Don't we???? So what if the site is frozen for a day considering the entire thing is run by 1.5 people!! You can always do something different!! Just use your imination! What did you do before this 'free' site was available?? Maybe do volunteer work for someone that needs some help  ....or, try a dating site that you actually have to pay to get any kind of service.
All I'm saying is "FOR GOD SAKE, THE SITE IS FREE! GET A LIFE AND STOP  OVER SUCH A NON-ISSUE  | |

Do you guys really think that is accomplishing anything? What are you actually solving when you say "I am having the same problem"? Or, my other favourite statement..."We need to get this fixed". Stop wasting your time and everyone elses...think about it.
I like the suggestions a few posts back. Get a life, do some volunteer work or just go out and meet someone. Is this your only form of connection with the world? Gawd, get a life!
