Now live not too far from Newcastle - got everything here I need in my area - good bus service as I don't drive and schools, library, swimming pool, shops, numerous take-aways all within walking distance too.
Suits me ........ for now lol

| Where are you from Posted: 7/11/2008 6:01:10 AM | I am from Sheffield. Lived there until 6 years ago when I moved to a little village outside Leicester, then on to Poole, where I am now.
Sheffield has everything you would expect from a big modern city, with beautiful countryside on its doorstep (it is officially the greenest city in England), & like Rome is built on 7 hills. I didn't like the division caused by different cultures not mixing.
Love the sea & beaches where I am in Poole, great fish restaurants, local organic produce, but do miss the friendliness of northerners.

| Where are you from? Posted: 7/11/2008 6:02:28 AM | | California! Born in Redondo Beach, raised in a trailer in a little barrio farm town called Visalia, educated in Fresno, eloped with a Sowf Londoner in San Francisco, settled in Surrey in 1995. I never wanted to travel my own country until I moved here. Brits share their US holiday tales with me and now I want to go back and see places such as New Orleans and the East Coast. I wasn't impressed with New York but Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Massachusetts sound stunning. | |

The U.S. would love for you all to visit and spend some ££ If anyone wants to ask about this side of the pond, just ask
