No, actually, Quiet Riot, Manowar, Savatage, Saxxon, Helloween, Cinderella and Poison might be a step up!

Bullet for my Valentine are a bit lame.
Haven't heared enough of In Flames to have an opinion on them.
If you're looking for some Black Metal, try Impailed Nazarene, Carpathian Forest, Venom or Marduk, they're pretty kewl.

Songs likes "Use Me," "How Long" and "Homecoming Queen" are fantastic. For my own personal tastes they may be the best "rockers" to come along since Guns and Roses. I just hope they last longer and don't flame out like GnR did.

Unique, heavy, and totally addictive. They've got a style of their own, and while other, more extreme styles in the vain of The Black Dahlia Murder (who are actually excellent, but one of the few tolerable 'Deathcore' acts) are what's being hyped right now, it's going to be Mastodon that people will still be listening to in years to come.

I ceratinly couldn't!
A few minutes into it and I was gagging for some real metal.
