two of the waitresses roughly our age are greeting us like old friends, and always talk to us. Hilarious, since they find time to come talk to us at our table, even if they aren't tending to us You must have been wearing your "obviously single" rings. Glad you got what you wanted. any dates, or did you tip them well only to be disappointed?

I back wellguesswho onwhat she has said. I was a waitress for an number of years, and where I worked there was an unspoken rule, you just don't flirt with a male customer, single or otherwise. If management caught you, you would be fired. Friendly, yes - helpful, yes - polite/curteous yes. But definitely no flirting. It is totally unprofessional, and has nothing to do with the waitress' job. As several others also posted, if you want a flirty waitress, to go a strip club. With any luck you might have got a lap dance to go with your meal, seeing how it was your birthday and all. In other words - GET REAL WILL YA!! Just who the h*ll do you think you are? God's gift???

lol sounds like you should go to Moxie's, although the waitresses there might be a fair bit too young for you, more around my age but damn they get some of the best looking chicks at those restaurants, too bad a lot of them are highschool girls and ones younger then me :P
