Posted: 8/12/2006 9:32:45 PM | | Met 3, still friends with 2, the 3rd I never heard from again after he got home from our 1st date and discovered that I had been online "still looking", (never mentioned on the date that he thought we were exclusive). All nice guys, even the disappearing one, who was a perfect gentleman. | |

Posted: 8/13/2006 11:14:13 AM | I go to the events and parties sometimes so I've met alot of ppl from this site......the party I co-hosted had about 400-450 ppl so I met everyone of them at least once....
some I knew most I didn't....I've met more new ppl since than so lots and lots... | |

Posted: 8/31/2006 2:26:04 PM | I can honestly say now after reading my ex's desperate attempts to find a date on here thru the forums...makes me regret meeting him in person....if only I had known more about this site before I met him, I would have read what he had written previously...and NEVER would have allowed myself to meet him and start a relationship with this type of individual....I see now he still hasn't changed....he's still online doing the same things....talk about head games. When does a person actually grow up????? Now I pay close attention to what I read....and how someone presents themselves.....not desperate to be in a relationship anymore....not settling for less then what I deserve.......
I guess a negative experience can only make us stronger....I have alot to offer that special someone....and if the chemistry is there and the timing is right that special someone will not be disappointed

I have met 5 from this site been on others before
All nice seemingly normal men lol?
They all went from drinks to buying me dinner and I offered Dutch!
One angry at ex when he got a few drinks in him so I would get yelled at so not the best meet lol
The rest not a feeling of Wow or chemistry on my part I know for sure but have to say they were all gentlemen regardless and glad we met and fun night out
One I really fell for and we spent half of August together what a GUY WONDERFUL
He went very suddenly back to a cheating ex and I miss him and feel sorry for him I learned right there that men go back to not good women too I thought it was only us women LOL
I know this from personal experience I hate to admit LOL
I hope he learns and comes back to me or at least finds himself a really amazing women!
Also what some of you have said on here and to the lady that started this and you are at zero Keep trying I agree with that and if you don't take the chance and go meet them then you will never know! I meet aft not very many emails then call block my number if sound nice I meet and if it is not going to be a big thing I make the best of the evening and remember we meet these people from a picture so if you get a jerk try to brush it off realize we all meet just starting with a picture realize you don't know them and realize when you don't want to know them any longer and go on
Try girl only way wink!
CAUTION my favorite word for here be careful these are strangers you are meeting so in all ways posssible use common sense meet in public and until you know them well don't let them know where you live etc..........
I think from what I have heard on here and talking to my "DATES experiences aft meeting too
I am lucky so far that I have met all nice men even to buy me dinner when I offered to go dutch with all and they would not hear of it!
Even the one that did not sit right with me the one with the ex problem he was good to me too but I saw red flags with that one

Some were wonderful and some not so wonerful. I've had a great time and made many great friends.
I'm not really into the constant chat so I like to talk on msn 1st and get a feel for them.
If sex is bbrought up in the 1st 2 minutes of conversation then its bye-bye.
But must say there are alot of great guys on here. | |
