Posted: 7/15/2008 7:05:55 PM | My husband...he is a total hoot and so much fun to hang with! We're peas in a pod and we do everything together...except Fish. He has his forums, I have mine. Forums are lots of fun for me, when they're not all toxic. *ahem*
Growing things is lots of fun, too. All kinds of things. *ahem*
Taking pictures, (especially of my girl, cause I can't get enough of her face) writing, cooking, jumping in the pool and being silly, taking care of my people and our home, and watching stuff like Reno 911 and comedies on TV, cuddled up with the hubby...that's my joy. Oh, and playing my playlist all the time, really loud. :) | |

A lot of time I think its easy to take things for granted-a big mistake in my opinion..Appreciate your family and friends, nature, times of laughter and fun etc etc. Try to make the best of every day and moment..
You mentioned helping other people..I think that's a good thing and sometimes its enough to just smile at someone to brighten up someones day, I think those are importnats things in order to bring happiness and fun to your life..... | |

As a former firefighter and current military man, I can definately sympathise with you OP about working in stressful and dangerous environments, and sometimes it seemed like the only thing that got me through was knowing I was helping others, and having a demented sense of humor! | |

- Saying "Namaste" (the light within me sees the light within you) to someone... and meaning it!
- Helping someone else see the beauty that is "self".
- Taking time to just be.
- Learning that the best things in life really ARE free!

It really doesn't matter what I do with them...it could be just hanging out, watching a movie or playing cards or a hiking/camping trip or taking the little ones to the playground...just being together. There are many times that I take one or more of my nieces and nephew for the weekend and plan trips to Chocolate World, Indian Echo or just go swimming, play miniture golf...whatever. Life is what you make of it! | |

A hobby can make you unique and allow you to focus, get exercise, and stay mindful. I have a secret hobby that I carried with me from my teenage years. It allows me to travel, meet people, get fit, and kill stress. Above all, it's allot of fun and it is my personal retreat when things get a little crazy and I want to be alone. Awww...... well hell jm23fan.... I know this ain't gonna make your life "fun", but bullie is sending you a {{{SUPER POWER HUGGIE}}} just to you know that this too shall pass!!
We all have our times of transition that make it hard to find the fun in life. So when that happens, I look for "moments"..... because sometimes that's all ya get.
When things are going really wrong and there seems no light at the end of the toilet paper roll, that's when you grasp for solitary "moments".
I hope the hug helped, if only for a "moment".
