Peeps, you don't KNOW how much we count on our 'signees' for attendance to report to the venues.
Many have used the sign-up as a 'view me!' option, with no intention at all of attending the party.
Don't worry......us hosts are making a list, and checking it twice........we know who you are .........bye-bye....
It is SO unfair to your party POF'er's to sign up for something you have no intention of attending.
And, it is also less more (is that proper english?) fair to just show up and feel that there should be room for you, unplanned, as well.
Peeps, guests are welcome.....but we wish you to keep this to a three guest maximum.
If you feel we are talking out of our azzzzz, YOU should try to host one of these things in a space-confined area, and see how YOU fare!
To other 'outside' singles group members who wish to 'GLOM ON' to this party, it is against POF rules to have their parties amoeba'd by other outside groups. You other groups, if you want to have a party......please host one. We have too much membership here to have a lot of availability for a large non-POF group.

We are happy to have a positive response to the party notice... 
However, there is a big concern that the crowd will overwhelm Bakers in that their waitstaff will not be sufficient to handle drink orders, the regular patrons will not get service when POF arrives, and may be very insufficient room in the lounge area.
I would like to reiterate if you plan not to come, please remove your name from the party thread list. I've assured Bakers we won't flood their facility. We are tracking signups and have waited listed anyone who signed up beyond Sept. 1st at 10 pm. You will be required to sign in at the door with our greeters and present your screename. Friends coming will need to be sponsored by a POF member. The limit is 3/member. This is done in fairness to profiled POF members and in the spirit that some members may not want to come alone to a singles function and wish to bring a friend or two.
Note: Given the positive response, we will strongly consider holding another party in this area with updated, larger venue or make different arrangements at Bakers. This Saturday's party is a first attempt in this area. If we over-do by flooding the party, it likely may leave a negative impression on POF and to those who came some may not be satisfied.
Your cooperation is deeply appreciated.

awww girlfriend i'm always there in spirit too...i try to remove my name as soon as i find out if i can't make it...but like to sign up in case i can...i dropped my name off the list last week so there is room for another...have fun all....and this ole shut in will be waiting for those wonderful pics miss meow | |
