OK I can not walk away from this post...I tried but can't do it. But let me state this is me I don't care what anyone thinks it is a thing for me.

A woman that shaves that thang(I spelled it right so keep quite over the spell check) to ME is the sexiest thing she could do for ME. The skin until that fur is so soft...so sensitive so why waste that area of from being able to feel the pleasure that a woman can feel. But again this is MY thoughts. To be clean shaven all over (armpits, legs, beaver) is my biggest turn on. Now most guys just do not understand a females mind and how they want to FEEL! One of the most intelligent men to share their wisdom for other men to learn from is David Slade. His stuff is real and very fulfilling for any woman that her guy has taken the time to become a true lover not just another Wham Bam Thank You ma'am (selfish lover). I am not on the planet to worry about what men think of me...I am not here to worry about impressing anyone...I am here to live my life to the fullest and to be someone a female would never forget.

Any female that shaves to ME her body now looks like the statues of a Greek Goddess....curves....soft....smooth...sensual! So if she is going to do that for ME then I should deliver to her the most incredible passion, emotions and orgasms that she has EVER experienced. But that is just ME.

Laser hair removal is the only option for me...no shaving or waxing, but rather something semi-permanent to permanent, yet still not as time consuming as electrolysis.

Well, anyway who cares about whether it is smooth or hairy if no one sees it? I am not walking naked and I am surprised no one is calling me nun yet!!! Very strange!!!

To each there own comes to mind. It seems to me that you had a real good time. I would be there in a second. Love to be naked in nature. If I come accross a woman that is smooth and soft I would love it !! I was married for 21 years and nudity only happened in the bedroom and in the dark. I have had better sex with myself. lol

...........(and I'm sure most women will say the same about us guys)

Well, you'd be wrong about that...at least in THIS case! I love it when a guy's clean shaven, especially if he's got a bush full of long, scraggly pubes and likes lots of oral.

As for why women might shave, did it ever occur to you that maybe they're not doing it for YOU? I know that sometimes I like to shave it clean, just to allow for more sensation.

i trim, but don't shave my girlie bits. i've had ingrown hairs and razor rash when i've tried before, and frankly i think boys prefer the look of a neatly trimmed kitty to a shaved one covered in little red razor bumps. some women may like the look or feel of being shaved, but to me a hairless kitty looks prepubescent. each to their own, but it's not for me.

To me, it's such a "fad" amongst some women who may be trying to emulate the younger women they see in porn sites or movies.

Not necessarily. My ex begged me to shave. I was au naturel in my early 50's as was the style from my era. Finally, I begrudgingly accomodated him and to my surprise, I loved how it felt - a very sensual and clean feeling.

Around six months later he requested that I grow out fully, no trimming - and again I balked. *HE* was the cruiser and "fashionisto" of porn sites and simply got into the full hair sites. Eventually(5 yrs), this relationship ended in emotional tragedy.

I would shave again, because it feels so neat. It *is* awkward though, seeing your gyno with a "baldy".

Parry10, thank you! I, too, am tired of everybody shaving and claiming it's just their personal preference, when they're just trying to fit in with the crowd.

I like shaved, and I like neatly trimmed. I'm not into a 70's bush that looks like you've got Buckwheat in a leglock.

Are you nuts ? A woman takes the time to make sure that she is clean and shaved , which by the way , is very sexy , and you think that that is boring !! I think that hair takes away from a womans beauty , it hides her true assets , less hair , much more attractive , just because the drapes and the carpeting don't match , doesn't mean that she is any less of a woman !!!

God am I glad to hear you say that! It is torture for me to shave that area...I have always been really sensitive to shaving there and I have tried everything. It is a process that is painful, mortifying (if I have to have it waxed) and then, uncomfortable when it starts to grow back.

Guys may think it is pretty to look at, but please remember how hard it is for some women to shave there...and don't judge. I'm not saying you can't keep it neat and trim, but it is truly painful to shave - and how can you enjoy sex when everytime a guy touches you there it is sore? Plus, stabbing him back with the prickly hairs that seem to grow back in three hours flat!

I could care less if a man shaves their pubic hair...I like to drag my fingers through it too actually - just like their chest hair.

Well, as far as I am converned, it's just you. Of course, I don't think women are doing it simply because it's "stylish", and that isn't why I like them to do it - many of us simply don't like hair, we like smooth. And unlike head hair, it isn't attractive looking hair either.

I am a 19 year old female who shaves.
I don't do it mainly for the men. I am doing it for myself. Men don't understand that we, too, get sweaty down there and if there is no hair there is lless sweat. Shaving also makes it feel better. It's smoother and nicer to touch not just for you but for us. I also shave because it is easier with the upkeep and wiping can suck sometimes if you are on a yeast infection medication or something of the sort.

I shave for no man. I do it for myself.

Actually, what bothers me is the use of the term vagina instead of vulva. The vagina is entirely inside the body and certainly needs no shaving. Interestingly, I never heard anyone say penis instead of testicle. But vagina instead of vulva, all the time.

I intend on giving my teen daughter some guidance in this area....my mother NEVER taught me or talked to me about how to keep myself neat and trimmed...not necessarily shaven clean, but trimmed...it wasn't until COLLEGE on spring break, in a bikini...that one of my girlfriends mentioned to me that I might want to take care of some of the strays...it was embarrassing, but from that point on, I was more careful...I do NOT want my daughter to suffer what I went through...my boyfriend never mentioned anything, so I never knew any differently...

As I grew older, I realized that I feel better mentally and physically when I am clean shaven. I have no misguided notion that doing this will make me "hot" like the younger set...I don't really care to try to impress anyone...it's just my preference....

My most recent LTR was the one who gently encouraged me to take it all off...and I am grateful he did....I will never go back....unless of course it is hugely upsetting for my next LTR....the things we do for the ones we love...it's a small compromise...but until then.....I let my gyno get a giggle once a year...

I dont know anymore...
seems trendy these days...you shave cuz everybody does?
Landing strip?
Or heart shape?
Or, hell....
Whatever I want....
cool thing about hair?
It grows back.
and you can change your mind with the seasons....
Or with your/your partners preferences...
THAT works for me!

What does it have to do with keeping up with the younger women??
I've been shaving for at least 15yrs....it's easier, makes the area more sensitive, a good;) thing....and I've never met a man that doesn't love it! !! Even the guys are shaving there which I think is a tad unmasculine but trimming is nice~

Perhaps it's just me but I'm really beginning to get bored with grown, so-called mature women who think it's "stylish" to be shaved down below.......

To me, it's such a "fad" amongst some women who may be trying to emulate the younger women they see in porn sites or movies.

I'm not sure why you are assuming that women are doing it to be "stylish" or to emulate younger women.

Did you ever think they might be doing it because they prefer it for other reasons, such as hygeine, etc?

I always preferred the area around the vulva to be bare. I like the smooth feel, prefer that when I perform oral, and of course love the visual.
A few years ago my LTR GF had a surprise for me. She took it all off and I loved it.
I had always “trimmed” myself; not completely but some areas are.
So in summary, I am not turned off at all by a shaved woman, I love it.
