This whole "hygeine" argument astounds me.........every woman I know showers twice a day and trust me in saying, an inch of pubic hair isn't a problem with them..........what kind of girls are you guys hanging with that it's a hygeine problem anyways??.......yuck?......my girlfriends have always been freaks about showering even if they don't shave......

I wax it ALL off (I go and have it done.) Just my personal preference. Yes, it is painful but only for an hour. Plus, it simply feels better from my brows all the way down. I am not hairy anyway, but it feels much better to feel clean. To each his/her own. Only hair I have is on my head. :)

To each their own but shaving doesn't promote cleanliness.

We wear socks under our shoes to pull the sweat, which causes bacteria, away from our skin. Pubic hair pulls sweat AWAY from our skin in much the same way So, if you think shaving is more hygenic, you're wrong!

i really do not like the prepubescent look,i find it very weird to say the least, so natural, or a good trim, but then i love grown women, that are intelligent , and confident , not to day that women that shave are not, maybe its just my age showing lol

That is just your preference. Its not about trying to be young! I think pubic hair is disgusting, especially in the summer when u sweat alot. I like to be clean shaven and expect the same from my man. Nothing to do with feeling young. Some people love jungles and some people love semi-jungles. Myself I don't like pulling pubic hair from between my teeth. Everyone with hair don't jump in the shower before sex everytime. If someone asked that of me I would be offended. Getting my fingers caught in someone's pubic hair does nothing for me.

On a man, I don't care if he's shaved/trimmed or not...but on myself, it's 100% bare all the way! I find going "bald" makes that area THAT much more sensitive which in turn heightens the pleasure.

Oh, and tip ladies! I recently started using a razor that has four blades opposed to the standard two and WOW, it really does make a difference! :-)

Pubic hair is said to help in 3 ways : It catches dust and bacteria (just like the nose hair), acts as a phermone trap, and keeps the genitals warm. Everything is given to us for a purpose. May I know which lady SHAVES her nose hair ? So pubic hair should just be trimmed every month. Shaving leaves in-grown hairs and red bumps. Nature knows best and Natural is best.

How many people have you fooled around with that haven't hit puberty though? I mean, that's the only thing I can assume whenever I read people make that outlandish claim...it's not like you have anything to compare it to...I hope...
People say stuff like that because pre-pubescent girls not have pubes, a guy doesn't have to have fooled around with a young teen to know that. My preference is only the area is clean and that there isn't something down there resembling a shrubbery. I think a landing strip is sexier than completely shaved; I came of age when women didn't think it is routine to go bald down there.

Oh wow...another one of the misguided panty police ..my first boyfriend asked me in 1979 is I would shave and I did. While I loved what it was like for *us, I hated going anywhere where someone else might see, ie OB-GYN, or public restrooms.

It is a personal preference and one that once you try it and see how it feels is hard to go back to...I personally like being hairless from the eyelashes down!

Of course women waxed or shaved themselves so they wouldn't get weird looks at the beach. That doesn't mean they routinely meticulously groomed their hoohoo to be bare. It just wasn't a common practice. I never said there was something immoral about a woman or guy shaving pubes, just that it's vogue today, it wasn't vogue in the 80s.

Now I don't shave bare, but I'm removed hair down there lots of times, and I notice when it's real short that there's nowhere for sweat to go, and that I feel like I'm getting chafed. I'd do it for a lover no problem, and wouldn't chastise my lover if she wanted to go bare, it's her hoohoo for goodness sake, not mine.

its personal choice, but i shave and i like being totali hair free, have done for last 7 or so yrs and its just wot i like and prefer, it feels good to be smooth and its clean hygienic and even more sensitive when no hair and as another female pointed out it nice for skin to skin or skin to tungue contact,
