glad to hear about the games and fun. will you be sharing your bags? could we maybe have a competition? loser has to cheer for winners car team?
welcome flhawk...come on down and wet your toes.....great bunch of people at these events...come on and enjoy the fun. the more the merrier
keith......what do we do with the hot coals? wouldnt it be easier to bring sandwiches and chips/coolers?
mach.............you still owe me a dance. i won't insist it be in the mud but cmon now at least before summer ends.
im gonna try and get to robio's event........babysitting can be an issue though.
i can bring my kids here to the races; lisa is too...i told her you said 'hey'...she said 'hey' back lol

Are you buying your tickets the day before or the day of ?? Everybody has a different opinion.
Demolition derbys ROCK !!! I use to watch them at the Will County Fair in Peotone.
By the way, what concert did you see ???

Early has different meanings for different people. I am like you (5ish) sounds good to me. I may buy my ticket the day before and have it reserved.
Snacks could be anything.... If everyone brought a snack that would be cool. I guess you are not doing the grill thing - sounds like alot of work unless there are GUYS that are willing to help out. Can you bring food and drinks in the actual place ??
Whatever the majority decides to do is fine with me.... I am flexible....

Used to know a girl that did secuirty for most concerts and could get anyone in free with front row seats..... she quit and I don't know what she is doing !!!!

Posted: 8/7/2008 11:05:43 PM | anyone interested in being the 'go'to' person? we can set up increments of time. you would be responsible for showing the newcomber where to put his banket. have competiion teams signed up for bean bag. water balloon fights and any other games athat come along. We can have a main table if any one feeld like bringing a salad, dessert, drink b=owl, chips, etc, but ya gotta make your own hot meals. seem fair?

i let the coals burn out, then put them in a bucket I bring. lots of people start a grill. my son and i just grilled at the Super Chevy Show today at Route 66. other than the rain, whata blast. There was even a blues band playing in the evening. Great fun!!! | |

I am going to make it, bringing Mistylady and Mchuligan with me, we are riding our bikes out there, so we will be hard to miss. This is my first DD, so I am really excited about it.
