People do get judged and teased by others not only on interracial dating/marriage.... The main reason I think be explained for being comfortable with the big trend [i.e., pros - united, keeping our own original culture; cons - judging others, putting others down, etc.] and being part of it (not only in Caucasian's societies but also others). Most people being part of it because they feel safe and protected. But, there are also good sides of each culture, race.. besides the bad sides which should also consider, and it should not be blindly ignored.
Let me also append one crazy thought: we are the same. Alien-human DNA manipulation could be the reason why we are here... (we will feel much less different and willing to date , marry, mate,... with different races - I still mean different races of human beings not other animals...) | |

Here's the kicker tho...I have NEVER been with anyone outside my own race. Not by choice really, I have had offers, but it's never been the right time.

Try Interracial marriage. Now, there is an interesting life lesson.
I find that I am attracted to Asian women. Just my preference. Most people realize at some point in their life what they like and don't like. However, depending on your backgrounds there is always some interesting cultural differences that have to be respected on both sides for it to work. As with anything in life there is challenges and when you bring two families together in the mix, then it gets interesting.
Being inquisitive by nature, I found that as I explored different cultures, I begin to respect what I learned. In the end, people are people and have similar dreams, desires and just want to be loved and live a good life.
So, I am for the Interracial dating. If you get along and can have a good time, why not? Of course it is easy for me to say that living in a city that has 30% Interracial couples where people are actually tolerant of seeing this everyday. Sad to say that today in some parts of the world people are nowhere near tolerant to this.
