If there are women you'd like to have taken it further with and think they would have too, then I suppose you need to ask yourself what's stopping you. Might be that you don't know how to take the steps from being a friend to more - and this must be really difficult for men - or it could be that you have strong values and the context hasn't been right for you. I'm sure it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you or that a woman would judge you for it. I think it's quite sweet that you haven't reached a cynical, fed up of one-night stands stage, unlike many others. | |

Personally, my two friends are guys who have had opportunities to have sex, but have chosen not to because they are waiting for the right person. I see that as dignity. In their cases, these are men that don't walk around following their peckers where ever they go. The have proven that they can control themselves (the opposite of most of the guys i've dated). | |

Posted: 8/7/2008 7:20:57 PM | I think it depends. If she's really promiscuous, she'll probably want somebody with equivalent "experience". Likewise, someone who's been with very few others might be okay with someone in your situation (unless she's looking to become more promiscuous).
This has been a non-issue for me, but my plan of attack for responding "yes" is to say that I'm waiting for the right girl.... then I'll hint at the fact that she may be the one... and hopefully by the end of that night I'll NEVER have to use that line again =) lol | |

This is probably "tmi", but a virgin I dated had great stamina from the get go, because he trained himself to last during masturbation. If a guy was still a virgin because he thought it was all a bit 'icky' and he wasn't going to be open to trying new things, I'd find that a turn off.
However, a guy that had waited sooo long (very unusual in England, very!) and then wanted me, my ego would go sky high! I'd feel so honoured and want to make it very special for you.
On a down note, I wouldn't imagine you settling down with the first woman you do go to bed with, so if I was looking for long term I just think I'd assume you weren't ready.
My message to you is not to think you 'cant offer any satisfaction'! Can't believe you even wrote that, its so sad. Just because you haven't had sex it doesn't mean you are rubbish at it! Of course experience is a learning process, but unfortunately some blokes dont care to learn. I reckon with your attitude you'd be an attentive lover - something not to be shrugged at!
I definitely dont see you as a weirdo. I dont seek out virgins, and the fact that you were on its own wouldn't be enough to make me want you, but as part of a package it could be a very positive thing. | |

Ive known virgins in their mid 30's... not alot but yeah a few.. of both sexes....so dont put a age criteria on it...
