| The amount of women drinkers is unbelievable Posted: 7/25/2008 8:02:22 AM | I dont go for women that say they drink more than three times a week on their profile purely for the fact that I dont drink myself and wouldnt be a suitable drinking buddy .
However if a woman wishes to go out on the pi$$ once a week with her mates or link up with her pals for a glass of wine whenever she wants then why should'nt she ....we havent got to share every single interest and spend all our time together. So frustrated no because we all have choices.

| The amount of women drinkers is unbelievable Posted: 7/25/2008 9:22:40 AM | i also find it frustrating...
i rarely drink, last time i think was christmas and am constantly told that i need some fun in my life...
yeah right, going to the pub and getting razzled is such good fun eh..!

| The amount of women drinkers is unbelievable Posted: 7/29/2008 10:42:55 AM | I'm Coffee Total & have still had many a good night out in pubs & clubs. Saturdays Meet in Manch was just one of them.
BUT I have to say I'm getting fed up with all the "Nights out down the pub, Clubbing" comments on the Ladies profiles as Yes it looks like their life is one long party at the weekends & evenings in the gym the rest of the week to work it off.
YES We all have a right to have fun & being the designated driver once a month or when ever is nothing to shout about. When you follow it up with the glass of wine comment. Try being it every time & having to pour sodden women into their homes & get puked on all night. Then go home smelling like a cross between a brewery & a puke bucket. The smell lingers for days.
As for being on here to find "Like minded" people Or finding them down the pub/club Thats not gonna happen as We all know about those filled nights Follow'd by the "Good did I really do that?/get off with him/her?" Morning's after
Everyone is a Jeckely & Hyde with the Beer/wine in them so no one wants a pisshead for a partner.
Maybe we should star a new site. "Sober Smoking Singles" LOL

| The amount of women drinkers is unbelievable Posted: 10/24/2008 3:04:05 AM | | My man im glad i aint the only geeza out der feeling da same! I dont drink for many reasons but trying to find a non drinking woman is like trying to find a needle ina hay stack! i enjoy da occasional pint wen it calls for it i.e celebrations but binging every weekend is, to me, boring! Dont get me wrong i dont mind drinkers, in fact every1 i know drinks, but its da regrets da day afta, the hangova, not knowin wot ur doin that puts me off. The amount of men smokers is unbelievable
So what? Avoid them if that is not something you can live with...as we all choose to avoid things we don't care for
Don't see why we have to justify what we like to do in our leisure time, horses for courses as they say, live and let live...hmm can't think of any more cliches at the moment...must be my drink-sodden brain slowing down
You play the game your way and let others play it their way, seems the answer to me.

| The amount of women drinkers is unbelievable Posted: 10/24/2008 5:31:42 AM | Gone are the days or should that be nights that I have drank till the sun came up..
Now it is once in a Blue Moon, very rarely drink and never at home...Suits me fine..
Seen what look like loving couples going out, only to see them at each others throats a few hours later

| The amount of women drinkers is unbelievable Posted: 10/24/2008 10:01:19 AM | | For me, life as single person involves having a social life that involves regular nights out in pubs and clubs, as I enjoy doing that. When I'm in a relationship, my social life reduces, as I spend time with the other half. I'm sure the same applies to a lot of other people too. | |

| The amount of women drinkers is unbelievable Posted: 10/24/2008 10:09:39 AM | Have we never heard the phrase "to each, his own"? Meaning that everyone has their own thng, not necessarily attractive to everyone. The other one is live and let live. I don't drink or smoke, I tell you though, absolutely the last person I would want to meet is a holier than thou, mine is the only way, anti -smoker or -drinker. | |

Yep this applies to me too! I would like to be with someone who also enjoys live bands and the alcohol too. I only go out, on average, once a week, and very rarely drink alcohol on my own.... so not a heavy drinker.
(Ok Ok .... When I do go out.... I do like to get.... eh .....a little tipsy lol)

| The amount of women drinkers is unbelievable Posted: 10/24/2008 10:37:47 AM | On your profile it says that you are a social drinker, and I have just gone and looked at 10 random profiles and they are all social drinkers too, must people are. There are the ones who are 3 times a week and stuff, but most don't and in my experience it is a couple of nights a month. Surely you can be happy not to a potential partner for 2-3 nights a month, and potentially 2-3 mornings after as well? or would you not trust them? Whilst they are being sociable you can have your own space and do what you find fun and relaxing. I would suggest that most potential partners have lives and it is about complimenting that, I do not know many women who would not want a man who actively would avoid meeting her friends socially though, and like previous posters have put going out does not mean drinking perse! | |

| The amount of women drinkers is unbelievable Posted: 10/24/2008 12:02:38 PM | | I notice the same things and it a big turn off. If they are after a decent guy they have to be decent first. I do drink occasionally and I do go to the pub like once a month but not like what I see in a number of girls' profiles in here. | |

| The amount of women drinkers is unbelievable Posted: 10/24/2008 12:08:34 PM | I don't drink much at all. Odd glass of wine or beer if it suits my mood. Go weeks without a drop and then can't over indulge as my liver doesn't seem to process it as well as it did in days gone by.
I read something at work the other day that said that out of a sample group of 18 year old girls (can't remember how many but think it was 1000) who drink alcohol regularly 80% had imparied liver function already! 80% that is some figure and very worrying.

| The amount of women drinkers is unbelievable Posted: 10/24/2008 12:12:22 PM | Well I am 27, no children at the weekends so I enjoy meeting up with my pals and having a drink/going to clubs. When I have been in relationships for a long period of time this has stopped and Its just been occasions I have gone into town. | The amount of women drinkers is unbelievable Posted: 10/24/2008 1:23:21 PM | I enjoy my beer - everything from a nice couple of pints of real ale in a pub to a genuine beer tasting session with the more imperious tipples on offer - imperial stouts, strong ciders, apple liqueurs and so on. It doesn't mean that drinking is the only thing that interests me. I love travelling the world too and walking about.
When I read people's profiles and they list their only interest as 'gettin wasted!' you have to deduce that they probably aren't much fun sober. They're not even tasting it as it's going down - what's the point in that?

| The amount of women drinkers is unbelievable Posted: 10/25/2008 5:04:22 PM | I don't drink or smoke; although i certainly used to. Fitter, healthier, and having a ball. What other people do is none of my affair-therefore how can i be frustrated. when i see 'drinks 3 or more times a week' i instantly click-off. The thing is searching thru the site it can be "no-no-no-no-no-OH MY WORD-She's amazing-the one lol. How can i be frustrated with that. TO each their own. I would also say that Hula-Moo was one of the young ladies i had the pleasure of meeting(while out but not drinking) at the Fab POF night out on the 18th oct recently. We non drinkers are here on this site AND so are the drinkers, been out with social drinkers recently having dinner and dates and taking them to the theatre too. Loadsa Fun. Once again to each there own;live and let live;don't get frustrated just click. Happy fishing | |
