| A Barn By Any Other Name... Posted: 5/20/2008 9:02:08 PM | Evenin' all. Good to see some fine folk passing through the barn tonight.
Hello to Expat...glad you got some population control in that roachy situation. Everything's bigger in Texas, for sure...even human beings and the buffets they frequent. I'll tell Mr. Smell you stopped by for the special but found we're all out. Mr. Smell should stock the cool room a little better, ah reckon.
Greetings to HAMAZING! I love the name...it's HAMAZING! It's even better than "It's fricken good ham!" -- it's HAMAZING!!
Heh.
Thanks fer the kind words and, yes, you did put them all in print. Good on ye.
To the fake-poem of the night:
=============================
A Gentle Push into Senselessness
Gently, gently the morn did come Mentally, mentally the day was won
Though it is with some suspect The day was won with due respect
Dreebly, Feebly into a short week Heebly, jeebly morale was week
So long, headlong into another Saturday Furlong, twolong -- is that what to say?
================================
Just made that up...can you tell?
Okay...to bed. Another disaster at work awaits tomorrow! Wheee!!!
G'night! | |

| A Barn By Any Other Name... Posted: 5/21/2008 8:51:23 PM | Hello all. Been a long day and a longer one tomorrow. I also have on eye on the Man U and Chelsea game right now...extra time!
Urf...just score already...
Hello to Longte!! Good to see you, pardner! The glory of the winter season in the deep (very deep) south, eh? My condolences on the botched paint job. I guess aluminum siding wouldn't cut the mustard on that type of application...darn...
Hello to Expat, too. I agree with you on the cookies. The vending machine at work has packages of them, but they're the size of small pancakes and I've been told they're Unnaturally Moist. No cookie should remain that moist whilst living in a machine for six weeks. It smacks of something rather fake. Thanks for the real cookies, though...they're gratefully accepted.
Okay...a quickie haiku or something...the game is still going on...
============================
Extra time festers C'mon, you bloody Man U! Chelsea cannot win
==============================
But they probably will. Oh, and this is likely a rebroadcast and I'm deliberately avoiding the score. I was pleased enough with seeing it on the telly this eve after work was done.
I fear we may be going into penalty kicks. I hope Ronaldo has his good boots on...
Well, g'night! | |

| A Barn By Any Other Name... Posted: 5/22/2008 8:20:00 PM | Hello all. Another day is done. We got home just in time to go to bed...ah, the crazy days of near-summer.
Hello to Longte...Ah, yess, ruggers. A good, manly sport. Funny how there aren't more injuries, eh? You never see those guys falling down and faking injury for a free kick...no siree. You know, I never knew a****oach could best a cane toad...interesting.
Okay...time enough for a haiku:
==================================
He wore fast thick pants A whisper of corduroy Sighing down the hall
=================================
Fast thick pants...saw that somewhere and it sticks in my mind. I like the sound of it.
Fast. Thick. Pants.
Nothing's thick and fast like corduroy..unless its a good canvas tarp.
Okay, I'm tired...must sleep.

Was it needlecord or whalecord? The reason I ask is to determine the resonance Were the thighs thick or thin? The reason I ask is to gauge the Chafe factor R-Cf+ Lotion= smooth skin
Yanno......chafing ...chafes

Perfect in my eyes critics call her thunder thighs calomine surprise
Flowing lotion gives free motion chafing disappears slips and slides in great surprise [I'll try it on her rear]

| A Barn By Any Other Name... Posted: 5/23/2008 9:03:36 PM | Hello all. Busy day here in the flatlands...thank God it's over.
Hello Pickles...good to see you tonight. The cord, I think, was whalecord. The thighs were thickish. The chafe factor must've been high because it sounded like a field of crickets when those fast, thick pants went on by. Lovely poem...I chuckled a wee bit.
Hello Longte...heh...you got me chuckling a little more with that pair. Well put, pardner. Well greased, too.
Hello to Expat...the kittens wouldn't end up on any menu. That's the Chinese buffet down the street that does that. The buttered wildcat is a more mangy variety and is totally free-range. And greasy. Very greasy.
Okay...just a quickie I put together just now:
========================================
Sandwiched Between
A smear of buttery truth On sliced rye of certainty Integral lettuce layered in Perception is the cheese Glued to contrasting ham Best eaten in one gulp
========================================
Okay...to sleep. One more to marathon day. Breathing and I need our rest.
G'night! | |

| A Barn By Any Other Name... Posted: 5/24/2008 2:41:05 PM | Afternoon all. One more arf-a-day to go and the marathon is here. I'm feeling cagey about it, but I imagine I'll get through it (quite literally) one step at a time.
Time enough for a quick haiku:
==============================
Load up on them carbs I'll get to mile 25 Then the mental game
==============================
At least that's what I heard. Breathing will likely have no trouble getting to the finish. I however....
...we shall see. One more sleep.
See yer after, eh? | |

| A Barn By Any Other Name... Posted: 5/26/2008 7:45:47 AM | Hello all.
We did it! 5:23 is our unofficial-forgetting-to-stop-the-watch-after-staggering-over-the-finish-line time. The official time is yet to be posted...it'll be a few seconds less, we think.
We finished at the same time, holding hands. There was no way I'd cross that line without her.
A poem should be coming later...we'll see. I'm slowly returning to my body after being away from it for most of the weekend. Breathing is doing good, compiling the data from the run and the food we ate.
Today, we shall walk. Breathing said she has a poem in mind, but it has to digest first. She'll be here later tonight.
Later, eh? Thanks for the well-wishes.

| A Barn By Any Other Name... Posted: 5/27/2008 7:53:15 PM | Hello again.
We're still alive, but I'm thinking another day of rest will fix us up proper. Wouldn't want to go through the rest of the week half-assed, right?
Breathing sends her regards and thanks for the well-wishes. She's got some lovely blisters on those darling feet of hers. I escaped the blisters, but does my left foot ache.
Erg.
Okay...see yer tomorrow-ish.
G'night! | |
|
| A Barn By Any Other Name... Posted: 5/28/2008 7:41:50 PM | Evenin'...just coming by for a quickie.
Breathing and I are still recovering from Sunday's looooooong run. It seems work is conspiring against us in this, as it never gives a chance to truly rest this week.
I'll just drop a haiku here and get on back to bed:
========================================
Tired, weak and sore It's a slow recovery Old folks and long runs
=========================================
To sleep!
See yer tomorrow, eh? G'night!

I remember doing a half...fook lost most of me toenails...really attractive look that!!!
Feet while not the nicest feature are neccessary, essential existential, elemental Breasts, soft and pillowy billowy, mammary sensory, titillatory nice to have and to hold but you can't run on them
