Matilda drops the loaf of bread--
George looks up from his paper--
clumsiness fights complacency in their icy stares.

Matilda liked waltzing
But George was quite nasty
They had toast and icescreams
On paper plates, for tea

Hello everyone..this poem I wrote is something that I have thought about alot....but F.Y.I
I have never been in an abusive relationship, I was in a relationship, where I never heard words I needed to hear or have things done like hugs etc, so it was a mentally abusive relationship because of how I ended up after I finally left, it tore me apart, not knowing who I was anymore......

I can't even begin to imagine what kind of mental and physical pain some people go through, and I bless everyone out there who has overcome it and became stronger, and my prayers go out to the ones that need more strength....

On a happier note, I am so blessed to have such wonderful people here in my life, even without faces or real names, your friends,I look forward to spending moments of my days with you and your wonderful words, thank you all!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why?

Why do you act that way?
Why are you mean to me?
Why can’t I be stronger?
Why can’t you just let me be?

It seems like today you’re gone
Even though you’re right here
Just don’t know what to say
My body shakes full of fear

Some days I feel at peace
Especially when you’re asleep
I know that for just a little while
My safety I can keep

But then you wake up
And I never know what to say
Seems like no matter what I do
To you I am in the way

Can’t hold on anymore
Feel like I am drowning fast
What is there for me?
Can I put this in the past?

Looking into the mirror
What I see haunts me
A person with no soul
No life no means to be free

Each day I am with you
More and more of me will die
Can you tell me something?
Just tell me why

Why do you act that way?
Why are you mean to me?
Why can’t I be stronger?
Why can’t I just die and be free….

Hello all...good to see youse guys here this fine day/evening/whichever it is.

Miz..that was powerful. It always seems I come in here after something so deeply profound and deposit my goat droppings. I love what you wrote, don't get me wrong...but (alas) am am what I am.

But first...hello to the other barn-dwellers:

Sardonic -- excellent stuff. I can hear Vince at the end of that one, too.

Pickles -- Heh heh...I have no words for you. Just belly-laughs and intestinal chuckles.

Rory -- the shorter you make 'em, the more I like 'em. That last one rolled across my tongue and mind like poetic oatmeal. Cool.

(Nice follow-up by Pickles-dear, too)

As for me...the usual thing:

===============================

Tempo Tantrum

Always speeding – a needing for the speeding
An urge to continue the stampeding
No rest to pause and consider why

There is no reason to peruse the wonder
When one hears the thunder
Of so many hooves passing by

Dodging, skirting, endlessly weaving
Never once considering leaving
The opportunity to dodge all that flak

But when one’s engine begins sputtering
And in the garden it dreams of puttering
Before that old engine suffers a heart att-

(thud)

=================================

I will be heading away to Calgary with Breathing for the Thanksgiving thing this weekend. I shall come here tomorrow and post the daily load of droppings and deliver the sermon. Print it out and save it for Sunday and read it aloud while wearing nothing but a garbage bag and scuba flippers. It helps the mood.

G'night you rascals!

Kick ass. Have a great time for all of us who are stuck in reality. I'm teaching a law class but my mind will be on new material for the night.

A howdy to Sardonic, thanks for the send off -- we plan to eat and ...well, eat , and have a few brewskies too.
Great write, we'll be watching for more!

Pickles / Rory ---howdeeeee---You always make me laugh, ya do
Miz -- So many questions, without answers.....
Mari_Sam - - All is fantabulous here-- with the stinky, farty goat!
And yes, a hug for that sweet, smelly goat ;-)

Inspiration comes from many places .... this came from ...hmmmm ...somewhere....

Howdy all....pretty quiet here this morning.

I have one poem and then the sermon for tomorrow all ready.

Okay? Okay:

=========================

Three Turkey-Flavoured Haikus

Gravy is the stuff
That does seek it’s own level
In own one’s heart valves

Dumplings can be
Sponges to stem the seizures
Coming from the grease

Ease into comfort
Dense in front of the TV
Dessert on your lips

===========================

And I'll wait a moment or two before posting the sermon. The bags are packed and I'm almost dressed.

Well...my gonch is on me head and I do have one sock on...gimmie some time, eh?

Be right back.

Howdy again. I am dressed now, so you all don't have to creeped out any more.

Here's the sermon. Happy Turkey Day.

=============================

Psalm 27 – The Book Of Goat

Blessed be the Bird
That we will carve and feast upon
This coming holiday

Thy Lard understands
Americans will not have Thanksgiving
Until a month later
We all should know Canadians
Are always thankful before anyone else

After all
We thank bank machines
And payphones
On a regular basis

Thy Lard remembers a Thanksgiving
When He couldn’t figure out
What the stuffing was one year
When He asked
Most Innocently
What it was, the cook
Equally innocently
Sayeth:

“I didn’t stuff it with anything
It wasn’t empty”
It took a few beers to wash away that taste
And a few Cream Puffs
But now Thy Lard wonders…

Was that really cream in the cream puffs?

Happy Thanksgiving

Amen

===================================

A rambling tour de farce there...oh, well. I gotta go. Be good and I'l be back in the barn Monday.

Kiss kiss.

Hiya all,

Goat & Breathing, I hope your weekend was great!!
Mine was a hit and run!!

Not sure how it happened
It must have been meant to be
It was like a hit and run
I never knew what hit me

Now all sudden, here we are
Smiling all the time
Writing about our love
Back and forth in rhyme

All I know is how it feels
How warm my heart is inside
And how I can’t stop thinking
How it’s something I can’t hide

Bruises are amazing things
Changing the colour of one's skin
Indigo blue and vermillion
Emerald green, scarlet and crimson
Beautiful jewel tones
The vivid colours of precious stones
Soon to fade to black, mustard and dull grey
The colours of clouds filled with rain
Now on crutches hobbling away
Give me more drugs please for the pain

Howdy Goat . . . . . been a long time since I've been 'round these parts; d'ya mind if I drop something alongside your fine mastery of language in here?

Well, I s'pose that was just for the niceties of it all . . . .whether or not you agree, I'm plopping something down anyways . . . . .I guess we'll all see what it is when it's steaming it's way through the cool morning dew. I'd offer apologies in advance, but only if I was sorry.

Enough of that pungent aroma
It's a'time to be going homa
And resting these weary bones
While muting the whiny moans

It's only a pie from a cow
No need to lose all of mychow
Just gotta swallow and plug up my nose
I swear it, the smell really goes

Ugh, it travels right into my shirt
Leaving your cohorts on red alert
Explaining the just proferred scoop
Their hopes of masking the poop.

If you look just a little bit closer
And you don't think I'm getting much grosser
Then you'll see that this bull'd eaten corn
In between doses of legal cow porn.

Ugh.

Guess what?

I'm still not sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAH!

Ummmmmm, actually, looking back at that, I kind of am. Oh well. Here's a shovel. Feel free to fling that wherever you want to. I don't mind.

I Am a Turkey.

This holiday season
I was the turkey.
I laid down on the platter,
said let's get atter..
and got carved to the bone.
All the stuffing has gone out..
of me now...no fight left here..
Raise a glass to the carver..
And a toast of three cheers.

Howdy all....we just got in moments ago. We're all good, thanks for the well wishes which I finally got to just now. I hope ya'll had a good weekend yourselves.

I see we've had some honoured visitors here...Ticket and Agent. There's a couple of guys I haven't seen around for quite a while. Good to see you guys again. Agent is still in fine form, leaving such well-rounded droppings. Heck, man...leave what you like and it all provdes insipiration and mental fertilizer for all. Thanks to Ticket for taking something away from the (koff koff) sermon...hope the words helped, good sir.

The others....Mari, Rory, Sardonic, Thou Great and Wise Pickles, Miz...did I miss anyone? Oh, yeah...Dar! Thanks for coming by and keeping the barn doors open...if you know what I mean.

Well, I have to wash the undercarriage -- if you see what I'm saying -- so here's a spontaneous mess of lines:

===========================

Days of Turkey

Gargle with gravy
It makes your hair get wavy
It can make you crazy
Memories get hazy
Or you could get lazy

As you sink
And think
One more drink

But really, that would be contrived
Because we had to drive
Such a long, long way
To get home to this flat land
This glorious wheat-filled bland
Hideout in plain, old sight

Now we are here
And we opened a beer
Back in our old neighbourhood
Coming home feels good

========================

I smell like armpit and ass. I must clean my unholy body and sleep.

G'night you crazy kids and I'll see you tomorrow.

HEHEHEHE

Breathin', tis the season of Druid droppin's
Halloween, and All Saints
Not for the faint hearted
But those who have imparted their wisdom
Farted with abandon, and
Played by the rules of Stonehenge
Only those beasts and men
Will be among the honored
Barn dwellers again

Settle like sleeping diamonds

Slowly waking to the day
Inhaling the gentle scent of

Allo. Good to see ya'll here.

Little tired tonight...so this'll be quick. Hello to you barn-dwellers...you're all lookin' good. I really like what Rory's doing..the Jack O Lantern Diary continues. A story in 28 parts...29 including the head, if you know what I mean.

I'm just about asleep at the keyboard, so here we go:

==========================

Glibbleplep

Tired and tuckered
My anus is puckered
With the effort to be in this chair

After a fine meal
I’m ready to deal
Some truly rarefied air

===========================

G'night. I'll see youse guys tomorrow. Oh, hello Breathing-dear...you're looking lovely...

Goat, excellent dropping from you yesterday.
Hi to everyone.

=====================================================

3 of 28, but it's not a continuing saga of the same pumpkin, I'm afraid.

Hallowe'en's mushy pumpkin,
colored and frozen, aching to the touch
like a sunburn.
