I knew a guy in my 20's who had these dark roots, but super light hair and he DID not dye it. I also got accused of that in grade 7 and 8, when my hair was going from light blonde to dirty blonde. | |

No. If that had been the case, I would have said so. It really was the hair, as I said. The one with the brains had dishwater/dirty blonde hair, and did not get 1/4th the attention of the the other one, who happens not to have much going on upstairs other than her natural blonde hair.
I bet if they had brown hair, they'd have gotten just as many men chasing them.
I'll take that bet too because it's a big negatory on your claim, which I think is a ridiculous one.
I didn't look at your link posted, but it sounds pretty goofy.
Nothing like pre-judging things to stay stuck in your, well, prejudices. But you're the expert on goofy.
I've seen polls that ask men their hair color preference in women and, though brunette and blonde are pretty close in numbers, the brunette preferrers always outnumber the rest. It's usually like 26% prefer brunettes and 24% prefer blondes.
But you haven't controlled for the fact that (natural) blondes are much rarer than brunettes, so the same amount of interest is concentrated into many fewer available blondes. Which is why you've got many fake blondes, but not too many blondes going in the other direction. Besides, a large number of men may take themselves out of the blonde hunt because they know they don't stand a chance amidst the stiff competition even though that might be their actual preference if the pollster was a genie granting wishes.

Most guys are totally clueless and could care less if she's real or fake, which is pretty sad, so it sounds like YOU are the expert on goofy (and a bit mental). It sounds like you have a serious issue and hatred of blondes and jealousy of your sisters. You should try to deal with that someday. If "the lighter the hair equals the greater number of guys who hit on you," I'd been married by age 12, so you should ditch your messed-up theory you've got there.
I'm sure many of the guys who prefer brunettes are losers who only say that because no blondes want them, this is a theory one friend of mine has, but I'm sure most of the brunette lovers actually prefer that color. I have a friend who could've been married by now if he'd liked blondes, but he refuses them and only wants short brunettes. You can argue and b*tch and call me all the names you want, but that doesn't change the truth and what I know and also that you have a major blonde complex. Maybe you should quit being so jealous of your sisters and go get some confidence of your own. | |

I kind of wonder if all these guys into brunettes are just rebelling against the whole blonde popularity, thinking they'll get more women if they say they like dark haired ones, who knows? I have no idea where this whole "blondes are more popular" thing got started. Probably back when Marilyn Monroe was around, but the funny thing is, she'd have been just as popular with brown hair and now everyone would be saying that we need to have brown hair to be sexy.
MissSynne, I agree all the way! Its those bleached numbers giving blondes a bad name. Especially when guys think blondes are dumb. Funny thing is, all the dumb ones are the brunettes with a bottle of bleach. | |

I conducted an experiment a while ago ... I have a brunette wig that I got for a costume. I put it on and went out to Home Depot. I was surprised at how few offers of assistance I received compared to when I’ve gone there as a blond. I was actually able to shop in peace without constantly being asked if I needed some help. Or perhaps it was just a bad wig | |

I naturally prefer brunettes - no discrimination, but it may go on laws of averages. There are more brunettes, so I would statistically have more of a chance. But again it's personal choice. I wouldn't dismiss a blonde girl, but I'd be wary of how many black guys she's had. | |

The men wear makeup and get laser surgery and the women have fake eye lashes, hair extension, and wear slim pants to make themselves look better. For me personally, blonds are my least favorite because it seem like everybody has blond hair nowadays. I am super attracted to jet black hair but the one that i believe was my soulmate had blond hair and hypnotic eyes but i let her get away. | |
