Posted: 2/10/2009 10:13:40 AM | To the blonde who keeps asking why men refer to Brunettes as exotic? And seems to have a bee in her bonnet about it?
Look at any movie where they show 'tribes' of people...the hair color is usually in these movies? Dark. When we see Ads for exotic places like Hawaaii, or Figi...(really, any tropical paradise) again, what hair color do we see predominantly in those ads for these 'exotic' locations? Dark hair.
Dark hair is synomous with the word "exotic", while light hair is synonomous with "Swede, German" decents. We often here phrases like "Ice Queen" when we refer to a blonde. Who cares, it's all hype anyways!
It is just the way it is.
I personally feel like my blonde counterparts get more attention than brunettes do, but I will never dye my hair blonde. I know my color was made just for me. ...I do however reserve the right to have blonde moments...you see my Mom is a blonde, and I feel I carry this gene, as my son is also blonde...I feel entitled to have a blonde moment here and there...LOL...Life is too short as it is to worry so much about such things.... | |

Im not a natural blonde but i feel better being blonde, brown hair doesnt suit my skin tone (i was blonde as a child, then went a horrible "mouse" colour.
I ts down to personal preference at the end of the day. same as men with blond/brown hair. | |

Well, I've predominantly dated blondes. Every blond I've ever been with, all had one thing in common. They all had a strong preference for dark hair, dark eyes, dark skin.
I've been asked the question many times before, as to why it seems I always find myself with a blonde, and asked if I had a "fetish" for them.
After much consideration, the answer was no.
I find brunettes with dark skin every bit as attractive as blondes. I also like redheads, freckles and all.
It just seems that blondes are more sexually attracted to dark features, so I guess that's why I always seem to end up with them. They seem to prefer me as their "type"... ...I'm attracted to their "attraction" to me.

Could be the opposites attract or could be an influence from my childhood. | |

And if she is stunningly beautiful and is wearing very little or no make up at all, i think she is DIVINE!!!!!
Now, to find such a woman is like looking up into the sky and seeing a UFO. But just like the Creator, they do exist, for example: Claire Forlani and Morena Baccarin! | |

The women in my family are all blondes, so it's just natural that that is what I feel a kindred spirit to.
Mine too, but I experience the "kissing your sister" reflex rather than the "kindred spirit" one.

Yep, this is how I feel as well. In fact, as a guy entering my 40's, I'm attracted to many women with white/gray hair. Never understood the whole hair coloring thing myself - if you're beautiful, you're beautiful. | |

I enter the room and do a 'brunette' check. If I don't see any, I'll take a quick gander for redheads then I'm out. Blondes don't do it for me.
