I used to love to date Blondes, but all ended bad. Now I like brunettes.... never tried Asians though. | |

Yes, and they remind you of the first woman in your life. While most of us won't admit it, we are still stuck on our early views of what a woman/man is. I don't think it's wrong, but many do not even realize that they are still seeking traditional traits in men/women in a world where everyone is trying to act all modern.
This is why so many men of a certain age range prefer asian women. And truth be told, most of these asian women are "princesses". This doesn't mean they are b*tches either. Most men complain they don't want princesses BUT they do. Men raise their daughters to be this way. A man treats his daughter completely different than some strange woman. Think about it. It's been my view that princesses act more feminine. Men are looking for feminine. But who is to blame for the way us North Americans act? Everyone. Who is raising all these unfeminine women? Everyone.
I've had men ask me to their house on a first date. I respond with "would you allow your daughter to do that". Most then look sheepish. | |

One of my guy friends told me that when a guy enters a room he dose a "blond check" to look and see if there are any blond girls. He said all men want a "hot blond" on their arm. Is this true of all guys? Do all guys realy want a "hot blond"? Really? Are you serious? All men?
Why don't people realize that stuff like this is race-specific.
It appears that white men may have a preference for blonds, and it may not even be for the blonds but for the fact that blonds are suppose to ditzy, hollowed, and therefore more easily moldable and do anything because they aren't smart and will fall for anything. Maybe they are in love with the stereotype of the blond instead of the blond itseld. Maybe blonds have more fun because since they aren't taken as serious as brunettes and have the steotype of being stupid, then there is just more stuff they can do and get into without thought.
I'm not sure that men of color 'prefer' or think they are more attractive as a blond white woman look no different than a brunette. On black and dark it gives more of a start difference and contrast which is ok and different but is not necissarily 'preferable.' | |

I'm too lazy to do so, but I think if you tally the responses here, you'll find it's absolutely not true. It's some guy talking out his ass thinking that because HE sees blondes as the end-all/be-all that every other guy thinks the same way. This guy probably adores a woman with a fake set of tits and collagen injections too. | |

And many men (white) have fell into the mold of thinking that blonds are preferable, more attractive, or have more fun. Which may be fine but it doesn't really reasonate with all culture and races where blond (bottle or natural) is not preferred or dominant hair color of most females.
My problem was with the word 'all men.' As far as blonds go, it's race subjective. It's like saying 'all women prefer tall dark and handsome.' Again a race-subjective comment geared toward white people. All the men are know are 'dark' since they are men are color and Rudy Valentino isn't 'dark' by comparison. So this comment doesn't apply to me.
If I said 'All men think that relaxed hair is more attractive' - who would a comment like that mostly be geared too? Not 'all men' because relaxing is not common to those aren't black or do not have kinky hair.
Anyway, I couldn't resist. I know what he (the OP) means and who this thread was geared too and I know my comments weren't really for it at all. I humbly leave this thread.

So In my case, I hope men are attracted to me both for my color of hair and my personality as well. | |

The media elite (white or otherwise) are in la-la land, totally out of touch with any semblance of reality.
My problem was with the word 'all men.' As far as blonds go, it's race subjective.
It was a gross exaggeration even IF one were referring only to the white race. Even if one were intentionally race-specific in such a remark, adjusting it to say MOST men prefer blondes, it would still be a gross exaggeration (probably based on the false media image you referenced).
I'm not saying I don't like blondes...I CAN, but it's far more likely that a darker woman will be attractive to me. And I don't really like the stereotypical California tanned, hardbody blonde. I'm more attracted to the Scandinavian blonde who also has very light skin. For example, I find the actress that plays Natalie on Monk incredibly attractive, but I don't find Jessica Simpson attractive at all. | |

Of course, this does not apply to "once they get to know me", just the first attraction; which in itself is quite important though. | |
