"A can a of WD-40 works too...."
anytime you are operating heavy equipment you want to make sure its properly lubricated with the approved lubricant, otherwise you risk malfunction and unnecessary wear.

| Is it ok to use baby oil as a lube??? Posted: 8/7/2008 2:40:03 PM | I don't use lube for my kitty but do know guys will use pretty much anything as lube when they get an insane hard on. I once had to confront a roommate about why I was always running out of hair conditioner, since he had a buzz cutt, I knew it wasn't using it on that head! | |

| Is it ok to use baby oil as a lube??? Posted: 8/7/2008 2:43:56 PM | | One thing the other posters haven't mentioned yet, is the scent added to baby oil. Anything with scent added, and the type of oils used in baby oil aren't advisable as lube replacements.. They can irritate the sensitive tissue, and cause inflammation and infection. I'd be more leary of baby oil than I would be of a product specifically designed for such a situation... | |

| Is it ok to use baby oil as a lube??? Posted: 8/7/2008 3:26:05 PM | Wow a lot of people seem to agree on the KY Jelly and if its not harmful to me then i will give it a try but one poster said u can get some that give u a tingly feeling. I've never tried it so i dont know but that does sound like something i'd want to try. Is there any specific name brand i should be looking for ?
Thanks all for your opinions, its very helpful!!!!

| Is it ok to use baby oil as a lube??? Posted: 8/7/2008 3:30:27 PM | | Just invest the money in real lubricant designed not to cause infections. In the long run you'll pay more to see a gyno when you have a bacterial overgrowth from using baby oil. | |

| Is it ok to use baby oil as a lube??? Posted: 8/7/2008 3:31:07 PM | | KY is good and can be found at most drug and grocery stores. If you have some adult "toy" stores in your area, they offer a large assortment and even in small trial sizes so you can see what you like the best. | |

| Is it ok to use baby oil as a lube??? Posted: 8/7/2008 3:33:44 PM | So... nobody's going to mention how fantastic someone's body looks when it's all rubbed down with baby oil? It's not *always* about the lubricant aspect of it...
Baby oil is FUN.
Your Honor, members of the jury... I rest my case.

| Is it ok to use baby oil as a lube??? Posted: 8/7/2008 3:35:19 PM | You cannot use oil if you are using condoms or a diaphragm. If you are not using these, oil is okay but I would not use baby oil. Baby oil is not meant to be taken internally and my experience is that it usually has a fragrance, which may be irritating. I've used coconut oil. Almond oil would probably be nice. It does stain the sheets, though.
If you're using condoms, pay for the KY.

youre so right it can be fun all over the body but sometimes a bit too slippery.
I just wanted to mention that i didnt squirt any of the baby oil inside of me, i just put some at the opening so that it would be easier for him to slide in easier but i will definitely be going to check out the KY Jelly and see how it works for me.

| Is it ok to use baby oil as a lube??? Posted: 8/7/2008 3:48:50 PM | KY should not irritate you. Baby oil might from the fragrance but if it doesn't bother you and condoms aren't involved, I can't see a problem. I used to use coconut oil and liked it a lot; almond oil would probably be good, too. Baby oil isn't meant to be taken internally but it's probably okay. As for the guy who suggested spit - some of us like something a little more viscuous. It's more effective, doesn't dry out so quickly.
This raises a question: do guys have some aversion to using lube? Even though they know I like it, they *never* reach for it and often when I do, they'll say, "You don't need that, you're pretty wet." Well, I'm sorry but natural lubrication and spit dry out pretty quickly and some of us really like the extra lube.

| Is it ok to use baby oil as a lube??? Posted: 8/7/2008 3:58:15 PM | There is this new KY out called "his and hers" (I think). It is supposed to be great alone but when you mix the two together.....just try it out and see. Have fun!!! | |

| Is it ok to use baby oil as a lube??? Posted: 8/7/2008 4:15:12 PM | Baby oil or body (heating) oils are fun to play with on the outside. They used to have some lotions that tasted good. Water sports are great fun too
If you are having a problem, you can also check with your doctor. There are prescriptions that can be used for this. I saw that on Oprah

| Is it ok to use baby oil as a lube??? Posted: 8/7/2008 4:16:20 PM | | Hmmmmm...........anything like baby oil may affect condom usage. I would advise caution. Are you really narrow, or just a little apprehensive of the event? Perhaps a lot of foreplay would be better than lube anyway - just a thought as i have never had that problem. | |

| Is it ok to use baby oil as a lube??? Posted: 8/7/2008 4:18:56 PM | Um- it causes condoms to break... however if you're not worried about that- still invest in the ky, it's worth it because apparently it doesn't cause infections

Actually... the only thing you really need is a little spit... sorry.. might not sound to nice.. but when you are in the moment.. and I am eating you out.. I really don't think you are NOT going to be all juicy. BUT.. if for some reason you are... spit works wonders.
A little tip for the men out there.. let a little spit dribble out of your mouth and drop on her clit.. then let it run down and around between the lips.. then lick from the bottom up... keep doing that.. I can almost guarantee you she will be wet.. and I don't mean just from the spit.. :!
Wha, wha, what!?? This post is a joke, right??

| Is it ok to use baby oil as a lube??? Posted: 8/7/2008 4:56:08 PM | i want to use the baby oil,
Ok.... I looked up the ingrdients in Baby Oil.... Petroleum by-product that coats the skin like plastic, clogging the pores. Interferes with skin's ability to eliminate toxins, promoting acne and other disorders. Slows down skin function and cell development, resulting in premature aging. Used in many products (baby oil is 100% mineral oil!) Any mineral oil derivative can be contaminated with cancer causing PAH's (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons). Manufacturers use petrolatum because it is unbelievably cheap. Mineral oil Liquidum paraffinum (also known as posh mineral oil!) Paraffin oil Paraffin wax Petrolatum
Are you still wanting to use it?????????????????????????
