Ive never heard of ID Millenium lube, is that one or two brands ID and Millenium or one of the same ??
ID Lubricants is the manufacturer, and Millennium is one of their products (specifically, their silicone-based lubricant). Wikipedia has more information on the company, including brief product descriptions and related links.

| Is it ok to use baby oil as a lube??? Posted: 8/13/2008 2:09:51 PM | ive actually asked my doctor about this, she says its not good for your internal body...even on baby oil it says for external use only
i would just buy a cheap waterbased lube at the local pharmacy...there normally by the condoms section.... baby oil is not supposed to be used for lubricant it holds alot of bacteria in your vagina which can cause infections. i would spend the extra dollars for a good lubricant....or get him to buy it...or you pay for half and he pay for half. and i also find that the warming lube burns me. so i dont recomend warming lubrication. just plain waterbased lube is perfect.
i hope this helps :) | |

NuttyIrishman: "I personally prefer silicone lubricants, specifically ID's "Millennium" brand moisturizing lube." I've got a container of the ID stuff at home. It gets tacky in less than five minutes time. It would only be good for a quickie, IMHO.

Hmm, interesting. From reading your post history, it sounds like you have your fair share of partners and unprotected sex.
I'm sure that potential suitors on the site will be glad that you shared that bit of information with the rest of the class...
BTW, any oil-based product will break down latex and cause condom failure.

| Is it ok to use baby oil as a lube??? Posted: 10/2/2008 9:10:40 AM | | Baby oil is not for internal ingestion, if you really want to use an oil something vegetable based would be safer. But really, just spend the extra dough on KY. Is the happiness of your vagina anything to skimp on? | |

| Is it ok to use baby oil as a lube??? Posted: 10/2/2008 10:39:15 AM | Theres a new lube called "his and hers" by KY. If money is tight just ask him to pick some up for ya, or split the cost. Its about 20 bucks. I LOVE the warming, which runs about 7 or 8 bucks, but some women hate the warming one and say it burns. Dont put baby oil inside you. You can get an infection. I made the mistake of using vaseline once,,,,,yuckkkkkkkkk. (Surprise visit from an old boyfriend i hadnt seen in years and well ya know,,,,was the only thing laying around). After he left it was hell getting it off. Cheers | |

It's not very good to use for sex lubricant, either, but it wouldn't cause more than irritation. I used it once many years ago because that's all we had around. But we didn't do it again. It creates a heat reaction and can lead to burning. Not that fun. But it's good for body massages.

Now I dont know for sure babyoil was reason but it appears to be so.. warning...do not use babyoil to prevent pregnancy. I'm jsut telling what happend to me. However, I did not know babyoil would break a condom. that is news to me lol but im glad to have this knowledge since im trying to prevent pregnancy. hubby and I use babyoil sometimes with condom and one of them recently did break.

Extra light Olive oil is the best.... it is the fragrance in baby oils that irritate... and if you have lubrication issues please investigate Bioidentical HRT..... you can search this one and get the info and see all the life benefits.... If condoms are in use then all the KY stuff applies as well for safety

If you prefer no oil, just spit and stick it. Saliva works wonders.

But whats wrong with olive oil? It has no cholesterol and tastes good too ANY oil or petroleum based product (even "natural" ones) will break down latex and could cause condom failure.
