| First ever! Fayetteville PoF get together Friday, Sept 12, 8 pm
Posted: 9/1/2008 7:08:26 PM | Went to the Docks tonight. They are excited to have us. DJ will play what we want him to play. there are pool tables nearby that can be reserved for an hour. I'm thinking of claiming them when I get there. Downstairs has some arcade games and a rollercoaster simulator . Saw some people come off of it, looks like it must have felt like the real thing. So lots of activities if you need a break from dancing, etc. and again they have a quiet lounge viewing area.

Posted: 9/2/2008 7:52:43 AM | Arcade games at the Docks, besides the usual, billiard's, air hockey (Dawns favorite, feel free to challenge her), golf tee, foosball, 2 bowling alleys (sorry but I'll be too busy or I'd bring my pink bowling shoes). Oh, they have a pacman, ah the nostalgia. You can purchase a card like a debit card to pay for the games.
As far as the simulator, be prepared to be upside down and spin all around. Would probably suggest this before too much food or alcohol.
If you'd like to suggest the type of songs played, I can clue in the DJ.
BTW, you know guys I can't send you a message if you block users of a certain age so I'm going to assume if you've looked at my profile that you know about the party. Ladies I am hoping the guys also contact you to let you know about this. although I realize if you're reading this you already know about the party. LOL. Told you I'm a goof. Personal observation, a woman 10 years older can't contact a gentlemen but one 20 years younger can...hmmm? Anyway not making this a rant, no need to respond, just very educational. Look forward to seeing you all, regardless of age. | |

I would like to take off my goofy hat and say something, keep in mind I'm expressing my opinion only.
This evening is intended to be a fun gathering everyone can enjoy. The majority of attendees are single. Thats why we are getting together, to possibly meet someone. Most important, most have stated on their profile that you do not wish to be contacted by someone seeking an intimate encounter. I ask that someone seeking an intimate encounter reconsider whether this is the event for you. Please respect the wishes of your fellow attendees. I am not singling out anyone that has signed up or contacted me. I know we are all adults and in no way can or do I want to monitor or influence what anyone does at this party.
I'd like everyone to have a good time and meet some truly fabulous people. Last you'll hear about this topic from me. No need to respond. Again, it's just my opinion, certainly nothing to do with PoF.

* Our dress code is casual but management reserves the right to determine if style of dress or wording or images on clothing is appropriate.
* No loitering.
Dress to Impress:
The following policies are to help ensure that our facility remains a positive environment for all races, religions & sexes. Thank you for your cooperation.
1. Carrying or displaying weapons of any kind except those carried by certified law enforcement officers in the performance of their duties.
2. Clothing with obscene sexual or pornographic messages. Clothing that may offend a particular sex, race, religious group, nationality or ethnicity.
3. Sagging pants or pants that portray your underwear or lack there of.
4. Collared shirts are preferred. Men may not wear tank tops.
5. Baseball caps must be forward facing. You may wear a hooded sweatshirt but please remove the hood once entering the building. No bandanas, do rags or skullies.
6. No clothing of any type with holes or tears.
7. No shower shoes. You may wear flip flops of a dress nature. All flip flops must have a sole.
8. NO COLORS OF ANY KIND.
9. No backpacks.
OH and from me I NEED PICTURES, at least 40 I think to make it helpful.

It is a singles activity but if you don't find a potential date, perhaps a new friend male or female or even a connection related to other things, networking. But above all it is about meeting a potential new person in your life to share your life. I'm optimistic, would love to hear 6 months from now, we met at the Fayetteville PoF party. | |
