And its all worth it. | |

Don't forget the associated costs. Tires, coffee, tires, coffee, and then there is the tires...
Oh and all the cash you fritter away on supper and snacks in far flung hick towns simply because they are within traveling distance.
Speaking of which i saw the cutest little cafe in Myrnam today called the Edsel Cafe. looks very nostalgic. Anybody ever stopped and gone inside? not much in the way of excitement on the ride up there but there are a few sections where lowflying with a good view of the road ahead can be accomplished :P
Definitely have to make a run up that way come spring.
<<<<<<<<< sits on the bike and makes Vroom Vroom noises...
Damn Snow

| Motorcycle Singles Ride - is there enough interest? Posted: 1/13/2009 10:51:40 PM | Lets go mojo. New bike is being ordered this weekend. Can't wait for the snow to go. So I'm hauling the old bike out to the coast for a week, just to get some Jan. miles on her. Always up for cruzin in the summer. I get 2 weeks a month, so if its within that time. i'd luv to ride. Even have an extra helmut, nice comfy back seat, so I'm told lol. I think we should arrange a couple rides for the summer. | |

Well come that time of year Im in, but looks like the majority here are from Edmonton, this biker girl is from Calgary :) Connecting up would be cool as suggested in Red Deer or where ever! Have wheels, will ride :) | |

| Motorcycle Singles Ride - is there enough interest? Posted: 1/19/2009 11:28:14 AM | I'm from south of Red Deer, but always itching for a good ride. Can meet up when ever, when the official bike season starts. Not too sure I want to be out on ice as I have only been riding 3/4 of one season! | |

| Motorcycle Singles Ride - is there enough interest? Posted: 1/19/2009 6:12:15 PM | It was so gorgeous (weather wise) here yesterday (Jan 18) that I went out and fired up my bike . . . Then I just sat on it. Can't get it out because of all the snow slush. The bug is arriving early this year. I'm definitely interested in joining in. I'm a little South of Calgary so would like to meet with a group from Calgary and then head North. | |

| Motorcycle Singles Ride - is there enough interest? Posted: 1/30/2009 3:24:51 PM | There are a number of establishments in Edmonton and Calgary giving Motorcycle training. $350 is pretty cheap - don't forget that the courses run up to $550 - and you can get what you pay for - additional training, more time on the bikes, personalized sessions...
NAIT offers a decent course taught by very experienced riders/instructors/racers, Safety Council, and there are quite a number of others. Check with the motorcycle clubs in town as well for additional guidance.
