I've spent all day trying to nail down my mechanic as the "temporary fix" for my broken power steering hose fell off, again......its the fault of extremely cold weather but it still sucks.........I keep looking at my "Virgin" helmet on my dresser and can't help thinking that like pretty much any virgin (over 18 and female)....it needs a head in it!.....
I blame any inappropriate thoughts on freezing my arse (among other things) for far too long now........ | |

I know the request to have it moved to the event sign up thread page was read by the moderator but it was never moved. I think he just made an error as there was 2 event thread for another event but none for mine.
Notwithstanding, I'm giving up on making the 3rd Annual POF Bike Meet in Red Deer an event sign up thing. I'm just going to make another post on it later on with all the details and people can just contribute to the thread and show up if they wish, rather than "sign up" for it.

I was going to thank you for all your hard work copying and pasting the itinerary from last years ride straight into this years. Complete with the crappy food to start the day. Can I suggest we try a different eatery prior to departure. If not those who attended last year and recall the food are invited to join me at the McDonalds dumpster during the switch from breakfast to lunch as the chances of getting something edible are greatly improved over the White Spot
The White Spot. Shite Service, Shite Food, Shite Times... And I am not even going to ask WTF is the O Sauce. Have a few guesses though

The other place close by is the Denny's on Calgary Trail Northbound, but I'm guessing it's going to be packed. What other suggestions do you have around that area?
Worst comes to worst, I suppose we could just do the Timmies right by the Petro-Can in SEC...

They were fast,food was good and well priced.And the parking lot would hold all the bikes.

I don't live in the city so I can't do it. We just need someone to organize a starting point. I believe last year they started at a hotel up in the NW around McKnight. My bike was in the shop last year, at this time, so I didn't get to go.

Apparently the thread which was in the sign-up section over this past weekend is now gone. I suppose that after three for three, it means that I am not allowed to host it.
Please, someone, step up and volunteer to host, I'd really like to see aother big gathering of POF bikers this year.

Posted: 4/6/2009 9:57:03 PM | I just got off work....well at 10 PM and i got home now (fingers still a bit cold) But considering i took the 45 mins long way home. The weather for the start of April is pretty nice and if the forecast sticks, gona be great all the way to the weekend!
Btw, got those new Irridium plugs and man what a difference! Sure they are expensive but they are well worth it! Get some ...hell of a difference! | |
