| A Bigfoot corpse discovered ? Posted: 8/22/2008 12:06:45 AM | No one likes a skeptic, but no one wants to be ridiculed for promoting what seems a fringe idea. Of all of the strange ideas being promoted, the existence of sasquatch seems to be the most credible, since there have been thousands of reports of some creature in the woods with similar descriptions and tracks.
Despite the mountains of evidence supporting its existence, we all face those skeptics who love to use that ridicule. During the dark ages, the skeptics controlled society, preventing new ideas from being examined--new discoveries from being discussed. That Dark Ages mentality never goes away, and the media love to expose anything that will cast doubt on the process of discovery, to peddle fear and emotion. What gives me hope is hearing so many still saying, "IF bigfoot is out there."

| A Bigfoot corpse discovered ? Posted: 8/22/2008 3:59:09 AM | I have always thought that all of those people who say there is no proof,..show me a body,...in this light,....
I know that there are many horned animals running around in the wild that shed their antler's annually,....yet how many people do you know that find shed antlers littering the woods? I know I have never tripped over one nor have the dogs retrieved any for me,....
Just me thinking out loud again,....

| A Bigfoot corpse discovered ? Posted: 8/22/2008 5:44:34 AM | There are a lot of people who like skeptics. In fact, two posts above there, it was skeptics who pulled Europe out of the dark ages. You've got that pretty much bass ackwords. You think it was the "true believers" who wondered why the Sun didn't seem to be going around the Earth like they were told by the authorities of the time ? It was skeptics who wondered why nobody ever seemed to get healthier even though they were bled nearly dry trying to balance out the humours. It was skeptics who wanted to know what the nobles did to deserve their status. Read your history my friend.
Marita, somebody obviously is tripping over shed antlers or we wouldn't know those antlers were shed in the first place. In fact, I'm quite sure that if you actually made a point of looking for them where they're likely to be found, you'd have no trouble finding any.
Think of it like this : Ever tell ghost stories as a kid ? If you did, do you remember how after telling the ghost story, you were all suddenly on high alert for ghosts ? It never seemed to take very long before one of you came back and even claimed to have just seen one too. Remember that ? I do anyway because that's the way the human mind works. We see what we want to see.
People who see something in the bush but don't know what it is betray themselves when they say "I think I saw Bigfoot" This is a betrayal of their desire because the odds are, even if you actually believe in Bigfoot, that whatever was sighted was not one. After all, if these things exsist at all, there are an extremely low number of them. They don't say, as logic would dictate, that they "Might have seen a bear." That's too mundane and plausible. They want to see Bigfoot after all. Despite the fact that Bigfoot would be the least likely possible identification for what they saw, they put it first even though they don't know what they saw. As I said, this is a betrayal of their desire and fantasy. Logically, if they don't know what they saw, the first conclusion should be the most mundane one. I mean, if you look up at the sky and see a great glowing ball of fire, do you say "I think I just saw a UFO" ? Or do you say "I think I just stared at the sun for no good reason." ? The UFO should be the last possibility, not the first.
Anyway, as I said earlier, sooner or later a person must make a decision about the existence of Bigfoot. I mean how long should we wait before deciding that this thing simply doesn't exist ? A few days ? A month or two ? How about fifty years ? That's how long we've been waiting for any evidence to be presented. What about a thousand years without any proof that Bigfoot exists. Ten thousand maybe ? Well why are we waiting to call a spade a spade ? The first "modern" case was a hoax. Since then all investigations into the matter have turned up nothing but hoaxes or simply been inconclusive. Inconclusive is actually just a nice way of saying "We can't prove you're lying so we'll leave it open until we can." We've collected not one bone fragment, or strand of fur. We've never seen where this thing sleeps, where it travels to and why it travels at all or been able to follow footprints until we catch up to it. In that same time we've spotted birds that we thought were extinct due to over-hunting. How can it be that we can spot one of a dozen birds spread out over thousands of square miles but we can't even manage to get one clear shot of eight foot man-beasts whose population must necessarily be greater than a couple hundred ? This simply stretches credulity.
The whole thing stretches credulity. There is not one verifiably authentic piece of evidence to support the belief that such a creature exists. There are however multiple cases of outright hoaxing, thousands of cases where what was originally thought to be a Bigfoot was proven to be a bear or something along those lines, and the best that the believers can come up with are anectdotes and peoples' word that they saw something and they're pretty sure it was a Bigfoot. Why does anybody with the ability to think believe in the possibility of Bigfoot even ? Disproving Bigfoot is no different than trying to disprove God...it's unfalsiable.

So how did these guys think that they were going to pull off such a lame scam. They had to know that eventully someone would want to take a look at the body and not just a crappy photo of it?
I can't imagine the mentality of people who pull these hoaxes. There must be a better use of one's fifteen minutes of fame. I mean what good is the tiny bit of fame if at the end of it people think you are an ***hole?

| A Bigfoot corpse discovered ? Posted: 8/23/2008 6:48:51 AM | Doesn't that mean there will be *gulp* Imperial Stormtroopers along shortly?
Don't look now, but I think they're already here!

You read my mind! ~ and Nessy is out there swimming about somewhere ~ like UFO 's and BigFoot ~ there's just too many sighting to think somehow they void of some truth or fact.
I seen photos of this big boy as he lay in a freezer ~ It's easy now to understand peoples fright! Big and ugly ~ ofcoarse death doesn't help much in the beauty department.
It's my belief ` his family unit ~ failed to find him in time to tend to the body ~~ yes, that right, there are others.
Why some people wish to pull hoax ?~ I don't know ~ I'm clueless ~why would anyone vote for Bush ~ is just as hard to comprehend. ~ Same people my guess, they'll put sand in the KY Jelly, loosen the cap of your salt shaker, ~ or take a clean shop towel and wipe their butt with it and then leave it on the workbench for someone else to pick up and use ~~ Why would anyone find this conduct amusing?

Ok, I'll bite. Which "big boy" are you referring to? Please tell me you're not referring to the rubber Bigfoot in the freezer? But....but.... rubber costumes cannot die! Well, to be factual, they aren't alive in the first place! Is this fact somehow in dispute?
And what family unit are you referring to? Of course there are "others," and they are for sale or rent at the costume shop!

| A Bigfoot corpse discovered ? Posted: 8/23/2008 7:06:34 AM | Maybe so ~~ ~ It was ugly ~ whatever it was ~ could have been rubber ~ photos are photos
we'll find out ~~ want we! ~ the truth can be hidden ~ but not forever.

| A Bigfoot corpse discovered ? Posted: 8/23/2008 7:07:39 AM | If one mythical beast is out there then logically there must be other imaginary creatures also. I meant it stands to reason doesn't it? Well sort of..............
How could there be only one nessie, bigfoot, chupacapra etc etc etc. There just has to be a papa sasquatch, a mama and 2.5 baby sasquatches. A hairy nuclear family happily tramping through the woods.

We did find out beyond a shadow of a doubt - it was not flesh, but rubber. Hoaxers were hoaxed, frauds were perpetrated, jobs were lost, and lawsuits pending. Photos are photos, and that's all they are. You can do practically anything with Photoshop. DNA and autopsies? A whole other box of frogs.......
I do think they are out there ~ somewhere
I thought I had a sasquatch living in my basement - it turned out to be an 18 year old guy from Winnipeg wearing a gorilla mask.......

| A Bigfoot corpse discovered ? Posted: 8/23/2008 1:41:26 PM | oh really ! ~ and they had the Guts to appear on tv with their hoax ~ now that was dumb
~ really dumb ~
There is no limit some will go ~ ofcoare I'm taking your word for it ~ maybe your jive`in me too! ~ LOL!
I personally think ~ impaling is a good punishment for lying ~
~ That would clean a few liars out ~ and get the rest of thems heart right ~ to see one of your friends with a pole up their behind ~ with this look of disbelief on their face.
It'd work for me ~ I'd never tell another lie. But unless you make me King ~ that will never happen. Dance

| A Bigfoot corpse discovered ? Posted: 8/25/2008 5:20:33 PM | | We can see clear video of anything that happens on U Tube, we have sattelites that can read a car plate in a parking lot, trail cameras that can take photos for a month, A woodpecker, once thought to be extinct, the size of a tube of toothpaste can be spotted in Ark., Cavemen found buried on some godforsaken mountain and we learn what he had for lunch thousands of years ago, Bloodhounds that could smell an animal miles away (never scenting a bigfoot) not to mention several million hunters in the woods every year that wouldn't hesitate to shoot bigfoot and end up selling it to the Enquirer for a cool million..and none of these turn up a breeding population that has to number in the thousands..not one???And what do you get as your definitive proof?? A rubber gorrila suit with some possum guts thrown in....LET IT GO. | |

well, if you look at them on tv, those were quite lame in terms of intelligence. i guess they got what they wanted: notoriety.

| A Bigfoot corpse discovered ? Posted: 11/11/2008 11:37:40 PM | So I have'nt heard anything about that Bigfoot those two guys in Georgia have in the deepfreeze for over two months now. I'm assuming that in itself probably means it was just another hoax.
Anybody know for sure..............MG ?
