| Movie Quotes Posted: 1/16/2009 11:41:53 AM | A line that made an impact on me is from "Little Big Man" spoken by Chief Dan George "There has always been a limited number of human beings". Meaning to me that there are a smaller amount of compassionate folks than A$$holes. Another one that spoke to me is from "Buccaroo Banzi" "No matter where you go, there you are". | |

| Movie Quotes Posted: 2/25/2009 8:09:38 PM | I see no reason to settle for less - The Family Man
I don't know, maybe, maybe it was all just a dream. Maybe I went to bed one lonely night in December and I imagined it all. But I swear, nothing’s ever felt more real. And if you get on that plane right now, it’ll disappear forever.
I know we could both go on with our lives, and we’d both be fine. But I’ve seen what we can be like together.
And I choose us. | |

| Movie Quotes Posted: 2/25/2009 11:44:21 PM | Somewhere in Time
Pretty much that whole monlogue....wonderful.
Beautiful movie and quite possibly the greatest love story ever told IMO. One of the few that has me fighting back tears, lol.
I just caught one of my favorite movies recently with my all time favorite quote " I wanna shoot you so bad, my****s hard!" --Ice-T to Nino Brown (Wesley Snipes)
Edit: Oh, we're suppossed to pick quotes that have made us a better person? "Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward." -- Rocky Balboa

| Movie Quotes Posted: 2/26/2009 2:14:06 AM | Here's some of my favorites:
"If we go out and half-ass it 'cause we're scared, then we'll always wonder if we were really good enough. But if we go out there and give it all we've got... that's heroic." - Varsity Blues
"Being perfect is about being able to look your friends in the eye and know that you didn't let them down, because you told them the truth. And that truth is that you did everything that you could. There wasn't one more thing that you could've done. Can you live in that moment, as best you can, with clear eyes and love in your heart? With joy in your heart? If you can do that, gentlemen, then you're perfect." - Friday Nights Lights (film)
"Every man at some point of his life is gonna lose a battle, he's gonna fight and he's gonna lose. But what makes him a man, is in the midst of that battle, he does not lose himself." - Friday Night Lights (tv show)
"It ain't about how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done." - Rocky Balboa

| Movie Quotes Posted: 2/26/2009 4:40:38 PM | The one I always remember that has me laughing and nodding is Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2 as he's fighting the liquid man and he's lost parts of himself and his eye is hanging out and he says - "I really need a holiday" (or something like that).
After spending all day doing everything for my kids and shopping and working etc. I guess I found that line so appropriate and easy to relate to.

| Movie Quotes Posted: 2/26/2009 4:46:32 PM |
Wow how do you guys remember lines/quotes from all those movies......................I watch alot of films but I can't remember what they said afterwards...................some of us have a bad memory
I've got the worst memory at times, but when I see a movie I love, or a scene in a movie, I remember it. However, I rarely remember an actual quote word-for-word (unless it's reeeeellly reeeeellly short ), so a quick Google search cures that.

| Cheesy Quotes Posted: 2/26/2009 7:27:39 PM | From a real oldie:
Harvey with James Stewart:
There are only two ways to get through life. One is being awfully smart. The other's being pleasant. I've tried being smart; I'd recommend being pleasant.
And that probably ain't exact, but it's close enough.
