She didn't avoid you, she didn't not tell u, she didn't start a fight or cheat....so your doing better then most of us who never get told we have to figure it out, that the person moved on with out telling us. Break up's are never pretty, what did u think she should say ? Um, just want you to know I don't want to date u anymore, I don't love you. Does that feel better ? Anyone who has dated a decent person does love them, just may have fallen out of love. You love your family right ? So whats wrong with her saying she loves u ? Love has many meaning and u should be thankful she had the heart to say that to u. Your the lucky one she doesn't hate you. | |

She was an awesome girl I just was not falling in love or was I in love with her. But i love her as far as a person. She told me she was in love with me and I explained this to her an she didn't understand. Her reaction was what is wrong with me!! I told her nothing was wrong with her I just was not in love with her plain a simple and so I broke it off with her. My problem is that she wants to be friends and that if fine with me I mean I don't hate her or anything. But when we hang out she gets jealous and starts the whole emotional issue over. So I have been avoiding her am I a jerk for doing that....ugh

You have GOT to realise this lady is not enriching your life. She is a player and wants to keep you on a string until someone else comes along or unless no-one else comes along.
It's not internet dating that is the problem, you could have met her through more usual channels and she w ould still be a player.

Posted: 12/9/2008 3:26:35 AM | I cant believe this thread is still going after six months. Well like many of you have said time does heal wounds, it is so true. I learned alot the last few months about myself and from the relationship. That adversity can make you stronger and do amazing things that you thought weren't possible. I am more confident than I ever have been in my life and my friends have told me that they have noticed a positive change in me. The only sad thing about the whole situation is that it took me months after we broke up to realize that the relationship was a complete lie, and that it was my fault for ignoring the signs. But it could of been alot worse like my five friends that are currently getting a divorce and have kids. I know this time of year is very hard on alot of people but just know that your not alone even though it feels like it sometimes. Happy Holidays! and good luck.
