| What do you consider to be overweight Posted: 9/8/2009 6:15:58 PM | I would have to say that all of us in general are looking for that Mr. or Ms. Right with that fine body and dreamy eyes with a bright white smile that loves us just how he or she found us and makes us feel like we are the only one that exist. All that would come with a double cheese burger and a side order of chili fries. But truly we are all trying to find that one that makes us feel like it's Christmas morning. Like going to grandma's on Thanksgiving knowing that Red Velvet Cake is going to be served for desert. Or that new pair of shoes when you were 5 that made you run so fast. Really what ever you look like doesn't matter if you find “that”, in what ever shape, size or height you come in. Of course it's the cover that attracts us first...just like any book... but it's the read that made it a great book or not. In the end it's the insides that make for a lasting impression. Yes it's the cover that attracts us like it or not. (even you) But we all need to read the insides and let each of us take that time to do that in order for us to fall for the one we least expected. | |

| What do you consider to be overweight Posted: 9/12/2009 7:25:46 PM | I find so many men look at a woman like they are shopping for a steak....
Actually had one man tell me that he could tell I an not very overweight by the size of my hands in a picture...now, he looked like he was ready to deliver.
I carry an extra 15# on average and feel I like myself better when I don't carry this extra but I can't seem to keep it there...it's almost like I live my life to just be "skinny" instead of happy..
I like a man to have a little extra weight on him...not into skinny or the muscle monkeys that hang at the gym's..

I agree there seems to be such a double standard going on.
There is no double standard, some people are just plain shallow, I message big girls every day who simply will not date a guy who is overweight, they only date tall thin guys. I would even go so far as its easier for a overweight girl to date than an overweight guy.

| What do you consider to be overweight Posted: 10/3/2009 9:24:07 AM | ok well I'm average and proud...lol... (trying to lose 12 pounds I gained...damn I hate those last 12 pounds!!)
But saying ...
4-6 and in shape - athletic
I well...don't agree, I guess its all about the body type, Serena Willimas ...thick body athletic, no way in hell she is a size 4, but she is strong and as I said athletic

| What do you consider to be overweight Posted: 11/20/2009 5:07:47 AM | How much "flesh, flab, fat can you pinch in the waist" is my guide. BMI can be a good guide but depends on muscle.
My BMI is a bit on the low/ average at 17 , but I am not muscular so I am average.
I just read a guy's profile who said no way would he date someone overweight, yet his belly was a little out there.
Funny....Santa wants a slim one. Let him go for it.

| What do you consider to be overweight Posted: 11/20/2009 8:57:14 AM | | i know a guy who is now 40, looks at least 50 and losing his hair, and has this huuuuge belly now. he looked good when he was 25 lol. however, i don't believe his attitude about women's weight has changed at all. his attitude was something about he didn't like his friends "always trying to set him up with these faaaat girls". now who's faaaat??? but i bet he hasn't changed his attitude one iota. | |
